Capítulo 24: Chapter 24: Sixth
It's been just about two weeks now since Aliyah and I have entered the forest. We've made it into the farthest part of the third section and we've gotten lost a few times.
My leg has healed for the most part and I can walk on it. Nova's leg has healed as well but he still hasn't tried to leave us.
Maybe Nova has some sort of feeling of comfort around me? Or maybe he's thinking "I don't have anywhere else to go I might as well stay with the people that saved me."
Either way I'm happy he decided to stay with me and Aliyah. It makes this boring forest much more enjoyable.
Luckily we haven't encountered many monsters in the area for a few days now and I'm on the brink of leveling up.
And there is one other thing I must inform you about. I turned six years old today! Wait. Why am I excited about that?! I'm a now 41 year old man on the inside...
Ever since I've came to this world in this body I've been feeling different. Sure I feel weird being inside of someone else's body but that's not what I truly mean.
What I mean is that I think my body and it's brain have affected how I act. I've been able to keep my speech up to a more nice and professional way of speaking but my body language and almost any other factor have changed to be more childish.
If this keeps up at the pace it's going, I will probably not be the same ever again. My mind has been altered. But all I can do is try and remember who I am. Who I was.
Ah. This has gotten a bit depressing so I'll change my mindset now.
And for the crazy amount of boredom welled deep inside of me I can just fiddle around with magic or try and guess where we are on the map of this forest.
It's something that I've been doing a lot the last few days. I've also leveled up my magic a bit and have earned the title "Intermediate Mage".
It may still be a low tier in magic but hey, it's better than before, right?
Nova has been asleep on my head for the last few hours and I just can't get over how cute he is.
Even Aliyah has become more invested with me putting Nova on my head stating that "it makes me ten times cuter!"
I wouldn't personally disagree with her either.
I felt Nova begin to move about on my head so I brought him down and held him in my arms.
"Good morning."
I heard a voice that sounded like a young boy's ring throughout my head. I stopped in my tracks and said in my mind, "Who the fuck said that?!"
"Are you that dumb? It's me, Kit"
"I don't know anyone named Kit!" I yelled in my mind.
"Oh right. My name is different now. I'm the one you call Nova."
Wait...Nova?! I stared down at Nova to see him looking directly at my face.
I then said in my mind, "So...you can speak telepathically?"
"Yep! I sure can!" said Nova.
Well ain't that convenient. I didn't know telepathy existed in this world! I've only thought about it when I read a certain Light Novel about a guy that reincarnated as a slime.
I then said in my mind, "So, what exactly are you? I already know your not any ordinary fox. But you're not a God either."
Nova then said, "Well, since my fur's colour was not purely white I was cast out from the Realm of the Land God's and was placed in the forest here. And then you saved me from my death! I swear I will follow you until the day you die!"
Well now I have another peculiar friend.
I then asked in my mind, "Won't you live a lot longer than me though?"
Nova then said, "Yeah. I will but that doesn't matter!"
I smiled to hear that he'd be my friend forever.
Nova continued, "Maybe one day I'll even marry you! We could have a nice family together."
Now hold the fuck on there. He's already talking about marriage! And I don't want to tell him about who I truly am on the inside. I might as well let him dream a bit.
I then said in my mind, "Maybe one day, but I'm still too young for that stuff."
Nova seemed a little sad but I started to pet him and he seemed to like it. Since I'm able to telepathically talk to him now maybe I should ask him some questions.
I then said in my mind, "Gem, am I able to use telepathy freely with Nova?"
[Answer: Yes. Since the one called "Nova" has already sworn loyalty and previously made a connection with you, you can freely use his skill of telepathy.]

"God Sight?" I thought.
[God Sight is a skill that is only able to be learned as a God or a pupil of a God. It allows the individual user to see up to a kilometre away from a bird's-eye view or by their own eyes.]
It seems useful. I'll have to check it out later. Alright, time for questioning!
Activate skill: [Telepathy]!
I said, "Hey, Nova? What types of magic can you use?"
Nova then replied, "I can use holy, fire, and support magic so far."
"Support magic?" I said curiously.
Nova then said, "You know, like summoning magic or healing magic."
"Healing magic! That is the type of magic I've been meaning to learn!" I said enthusiastically.
Nova then said, "Well, I can teach it to you if you'd like. Of course I'll just transport the formula into your head. It's easier that way for me."
I then replied, "You can do that? Wow. You're pretty damn cool!"
Nova smiled and said, "Thank you for the compliment. Now, prepare for the amount of information you'll be receiving now."
After he said that I felt my consciousness fade a bit and I fell onto my knees. Aliyah noticed this and picked me up. It's a good thing that I'm a lot smaller than what I should be.
The amount of information that I received had pushed my brain into an overloaded state. I could feel my consciousness begin to fade even more.
-[Two Days Later]-
I now can use beginner healing magic to heal cuts or to alleviate low tier symptoms of an illness.
"Look at that!" said Aliyah.
I then said, "Wow...it's so pretty!"
We've now made it out of the forest and in front of us were golden fields of wheat. It was quite the beautiful sight to behold.
I began to look around using [God Sight] and I saw a village about 200 metres away.
Being in that forest since the end of January, and now it's March, really begs the question "how big is this world"? But that's something to worry about later.
And so, Aliyah and I have began our way towards the village.
