Laying down face-first on the bed of her room, Cassandra did not even bother looking at the two people who had come to help her.
Kristine and Isaac had no idea what happened, but it was clear that the girl here would break into tears the moment they left. How did they know? Well her pillow was already soaked with them for one.
For another, she was already about to cry anyway and wouldn't have stopped if not for her pride.
She wasn't even looking their way.
Kristine and Isaac couldn't help but feel bad for Cassandra.
"Just what has happened, I think Lady Kristine is owed an explanation at least."
