They made their way through the hallways of the headquarters, heading towards the guest quarters located in a separate building from the main one.
The room provided to Ervian was spacious and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed, a desk, and a cupboard. It was a significant step up in luxury compared to the inn they had stayed in before.
"For now, feel free to choose where you'd like to stay. Just make sure to be back here by tomorrow, as we'll be departing in two or three days," Darwin informed him.
"Alright, thanks for the heads up," Ervian replied gratefully.
As breakfast time arrived, Ervian joined Darwin and the other knights in the dining hall. The atmosphere was different from the bustling inn they had previously stayed in.
The hall was relatively empty, with most of the knights being on duty for the heightened security of the western city or dispatched for the upcoming expedition.
