Facing them, I gave all a panicked glance, to which Azar just pushed me straight towards the lycans, who were howling loudly.
With a howl from a lycan that stood out the most from the pack, a commander most likely, they all knelt down on the ground propped on one knee while supporting their forearm on the other. Their heads bowed down, showcasing utmost respect and loyalty.
And the familiar nostalgic ache returned to my heart making my chest tight and heavy with undecipherable emotions.
Aaaaah, what am I supposed to do? Give a speech? Press a sword on their shoulders? What am I supposed to doooo???!!!!
Ever since these guys came to my life, I have been experiencing so many firsts.

Yeah, them kneeling down in front of me, made me quite uncomfortable for some reason.
All I know was that it was an unpleasant feeling.

And if you feel like the pace is slow, it's because I want to take my time to make this novel feel like a real world and build my characters up instead of just moving the characters conveniently for plot. And have a detached feeling, I want you to really get absorbed in the story and feel the characters as they show you their journey (◔‿◔)
