"Hey, are you sure you are going to be alright? You can come and stay at the same hotel as me if you feel uncomfortable," Throb said, and I shook my head.

"I am already grateful to you for understanding me and not making a fuss about it. It's going to create a big fuss when the word goes out about this, but till then, I am just going to enjoy some peace," I said, and he placed his hand on mine.

"No matter what happens, just remember that you have a friend right here, who is ready to help you through all the situations. And I mean it from the bottom of my heart. No matter what happens in the future, I will always be by your side," Throb said, and I nodded at him.

"I'll just go and relax a bit," I said before nodding at him and then walking towards the large gates of the Lycan's palace.

"Amalthea," I heard a voice as soon as I entered the palace, and my emotions turned cold again.
