Capítulo 126: Mission Failure

Joanna stared at the four guards and prepared to move. However, before she could react, a sudden pain stung her neck.

A paralysis needle! Joanna realized too late the danger she had brought upon herself.

Her body weakened as if all the bones had disappeared. She slumped, falling to the floor no matter how hard she tried to stand. "Damn it!"

Lady Alana appeared, parting the row of four male guards. Her eyes glared evilly at Joanna, who was sprawled on the floor, clutching the cold ground.

"Wretched rat. Aleric never enters and leaves my room through the door. He shows up and disappears as he likes," Lady Alana said with a voice as sharp as a sword's edge. "You need to come up with a better plan to deceive me. Teleport!"

Earlier, as soon as Joanna left the room, Lady Alana immediately called the guards to follow her. She then searched for the antidote to the magic potion, which was always available in her drawer.
