The guys were trying to keep me in the stairwell, not letting me through the door. But since I didn't hear any type of gunfire, I figured it wasn't a safety issue but rather there was something in there that they didn't want me to see.
Squeezing between Liu Yu Zeng and Liu Wei, I tried to get my head around Chen Zi Han to see what was going on. Growling in frustration I smacked my big protector on the back. "Let me see," I grumbled when he turned his head to look over his shoulder at me.
He rubbed his forehead but didn't say anything. That was when I understood. "It wouldn't be the first time I saw something bloody and it won't be the last. Let me see. I promise it won't give me nightmares." There was a smile on my face when I said it. I appreciated the fact that the boys were trying to protect my 'delicate sensibilities', but I lost those my first year into the apocalypse.
I thought I would take a second to let you know that I take extensive notes about things that are seemingly random and everything will be very interconnected.
On that note, I am really surprised (and more than a little happy) that no one has figured out who or what Li Dai Lu is. I mean, I thought at one point in time it would be so obvious that you guys would stop reading because you knew the secret.
No, I will not tell you, and if you know, please, please keep it to yourself so I can continue to bask in the feeling that I didn't let the cat out of the bag in the first 200 chapters.
There is a journey for these characters to go on to become strong enough to fulfill their destiny. If the journey is cut short... :P
Sorry, way too much caffeine right now!
