Lilith patted her chest with assurance, bragging, "When I really get going, I can do the work of two people. There's nobody I can't take on."
Louis touched his forehead, sighing, "Okay, I'll believe you this time. Keep me updated if anything happens."
"Just wait for the good news," she replied.
Lilith moved fast. She packed her stuff at home, booked the next available flight, and with her two bodyguards, they headed towards Asia.
When she reached the hospital where Basemmath was staying, she saw a young man in his twenties hanging out and laughing with Alicia. The guy was pretty good-looking—thick eyebrows, big eyes, wearing a white t-shirt, worn-out jeans—relaxed but fashionable. From a distance, he and the dazzling, classy Alicia looked great together.
Lilith thought, It's a good thing I'm here. Otherwise, Louis would have lost Alicia to this guy for good.
