Capítulo 171: A Great Fight

The idea of Alicia not wanting him anymore sent Louis spinning into a whirlwind of stress, sadness, and a touch of hurt. It felt a lot like heartbreak.

He called his assistant on his phone and said, "Get my private jet ready."

His assistant, hearing this, was clearly worried. It was clear that Louis was planning to jet off to Alicia.

With a concerned look, the assistant warned, "Mr. Martinez, your head injury is serious. The doctor recommended you rest; flying might make it worse. If anything goes wrong, it could be permanent. Also, your arm injury is severe and might get worse because of the changes in pressure on a plane."

Louis's eyebrows drew together tightly. Suddenly, he banged his fist into the bed.

Seeing his anger, the assistant tried to soothe him gently, "Mr. Martinez, don't worry. Mrs. Martinez cares about you. She wouldn't have waited around for half a day if she didn't. She'll come back when she's ready."
