Capítulo 106: Alicia's Baby in Danger

One week later, at Marlon's house, the bright morning sun shone through the windows. Marlon was in his roomy and stylish dining area, having breakfast with Evelyn.

Marlon liked a basic breakfast, mostly just baguettes and tasty slices.

A hot cup of espresso, along with a garlic baguette, was too good to pass up.

Marlon ate two slices of baguettes and grabbed a third, biting into it with enthusiasm. While eating, he noticed that today's baguettes were softer than usual. The coffee also seemed bitter.

He complained, "Is this breakfast from the same place as before? Why is the coffee so bitter?"

"It sure is," Evelyn answered, sliding a cup of reddish tea towards him. "I've told you so many times, as you get older, you should cut back on strong coffee. Try some of my tea instead."

Marlon took the cup and had a sip. It was a bit sour but fragrant, and surprisingly delicious.

Interested, he asked, "What kind of tea is this? It's really good!"
