When they stepped into the shop, Marlon was standing near the window. Catching sight of Louis, he grumbled, "You knew all along that I'd be teaching Alicia, didn't you?"
Louis hummed in agreement, giving a small smile, "Alicia reminds me of Aunt Mariana when she was young. Teach her well, and you won't be let down."
Hearing "Mariana," Marlon's sensitive spot was hit. He hesitated for a moment, then shot Louis a look, "You sure know how to get to people, don't you?"
Louis patted Alicia's shoulder, saying, "This girl is amazing – smart, hardworking, and kind. Our whole family loves her. It's a big deal for you to take her as your student."
Marlon clicked his tongue a couple of times, glancing at Alicia, "Did you hear that? He's quite the smooth talker."
Alicia blushed a bit, Sir, don't listen to him."
