Capítulo 209: The Truth

Nathaniel watched as Frank glared at him. 

Clearly, the man could tell that something was up, that this was no longer the game he plotted. 

"Nate," Frank greeted him cautiously.

"Actually, it's Nathaniel," he said, smiling. 

He walked over and leaned down to kiss Maya on the side of her head, "I'm sorry I'm late, Amor."

Frank watched them, suspicious of both Maya and Nathaniel as Maya smiled at Nathaniel.

He glared at Frank before finally making his way to the vacant seat beside Franks, across from Maya.

"What were you telling her?" Nathaniel said as he glared at Frank looking more dangerous than ever.

"Just the truth, that she is a fool to choose Alistair De La Rue over you," Frank said, smiling.

He probably thought that he had the upper hand, that he was in control, but he was wrong. He was never in control.
