Capítulo 168: What Now?

Maya was stunned at how fast things were progressing.

It was just the night prior that she learned she had a child with the richest man in the country, and now it seemed that their problems were slowly solving themselves.

"Do you want to interrogate them?" she heard Nathaniel ask her family.

She watched in silence as her Grandfather considered the offer.

She knew he was tempted, she was tempted. To think that he cousin and uncle had dared to do that to her Grandfather, the same man that had raised Harold.

"No," Carlton declared, much to everyone's surprise. "But I want to watch."

"That can be arranged," Nathaniel nodded. 

Something about the way he responded put Maya at ease, it was as if he could understand what Carlton Miller wanted to happen.
