Uchiha compound. Early in the morning.
Haru woke up early in the morning. Itachi was laying on the bed beside him. Haru and Itachi share a room.
Today Haru was very excited because he can start practicing.
"Okay, so I'll start now."
{Be careful.}
He closed his eyes and started meditating, it only took a moment before he was engrossed in the practice.
A stream of energy was extracted by him in just seconds, and this stream of energy was getting stronger and stronger with every passing moment. In just minutes this energy surrounded him, you could see a blue layer covering his body even with naked eyes.
If anyone witnessed this they'd be surprised by this amount of chakra, much less on a child.
Haru opened his eyes and felt the situation around him, he can now sense even outside the village, the amount of chakra in his body is almost inexhaustible, the moment he uses a bit of chakra he can recover it in an instant.
And the method was being used passively in his body. His eyes were much clearer than before and he could see things that he would not notice.
Chakra isn't something that is refined artificially, it can be of course if you have the method to do it. But in this world chakra is extracted through instinct. Everyone has chakra in their bodies but not everyone can use it to do ninjutsu, genjutsu, etc.
Haru could also have done it with instinct but the result would have been very different. His chakra volume would have been great either way but the quality of his chakra would differ.
The potential of his body and consciousness is way stronger than the strongest in this world.
And chakra is the combination of spirit and body. You should have both of them in balance to extract chakra. An imbalance of these can give you certain results. For example might guy, rock lee, etc. Although they have strong bodies their spirit is not very strong.
So you need both of them.
"I can sense Mom outside. She must be coming here soon."
The door opened and Mikoto walked in.
"Look who's up early?" said Mikoto.
"Hehe."
This disturbance caused Itachi to wake up as well.
He looked around curiously.
"Mom?"
"Yes, good morning. Get ready we'll be going out today. No excuses for you Haru."
"No, I'll not make trouble today," said Haru with a smile.
As he was in a trance for two years, he did not visit that much outside. Now that he is back he can explore as much as he wants.
"You seem excited?" asked Mikoto as she noticed the grin on Haru's face.
"Hehe, I just wanna go out and look around."
"Ok let's get you fresh and go, okay?"
"Yeah."
...
After half an hour Haru and Itachi were ready and dressed to go out.
"Let's hurry mom, what's taking so long?"
"I'm coming, why in so much rush?" Mikoto said with a smile as she packed her stuff.
"Okay let's go." Said Haru as he rushed outside the house.
"Slow down or you'll stumble and fall."
...
Konoha, Market.
"Look that child is so cute."
"I want to rush up and hug him."
"Is that the rumored enchanting son of the Uchiha clan leader?"
"He must be, look at the clan emblem on his back."
Haru walked with Mikoto and Itachi in the market. He smiled at every person he saw on the way.
Passerbys melted at that enchanting and pure smile, a smile that is so bright and full of light, a smile that makes them forget the pain of war and look forward toward the new dawn that will rise after all the pain and sacrifice.
His little footsteps were him walking towards his new journey, an unknown journey, a journey with obstacles, stones, and pointed pebbles that might hurt his foot or make him fall, but by looking at those firm and little footsteps all everyone saw was a bright future, not only for him but for everyone around him.
...
While walking Haru saw a store, his eyes had a mysterious glint.
"Mom I want that stick, it looks so pretty."
Mikoto looked inside the store and smiled at Haru as she said,
"That's not a stick, why do you want a stick anyways."
Haru's eye sockets moistened,
"I want it."
Seeing the commotion the shopkeeper walked out and looked at Haru.
"Which one do you want, I'll give it to you as a gift." said the shopkeeper.
"Really!"
"Yes, pick whatever you want. Haha." said the shopkeeper as he rubbed Haru's head.
Haru picked the most beautiful one and took it.
"I want this one."
"Haha, keep it, if you want to learn how to use it you can visit and learn from me."
"Learn? Is this stick a weapon?" asked Haru curiously.
"No, this is a flute, it is a musical instrument. It plays different types of tunes and sounds when you blow into that hole."
"Ooh, show me."
The shopkeeper took out his flute and started playing.
{You choose this one?}
"Yes."
{Okay I'll start changing it. It'll take a moment.}
The shopkeeper was giving a wonderful performance.
The flute in the hands of Haru started heating up, it started changing. The change wasn't external, it looked ordinary on the outside but the changes on the inside were quite drastic.
"Why are you changing this flute by the way?"
{To handle its usage in the future, an ordinary flute won't last much in your hand.}
"Woh, that makes it sound like I'm a brat."
{Haha, it won't be able to handle your energy and will break.}
"That sounds moderate."
{Okay it's completed.}
The shopkeeper's performance was completed and the passerby started clapping.
"How was it kid?" The shopkeeper asked with pride.
"It was really good, I want to try it as well."
"Okay."
Hearing the conversation the bystanders also stayed to listen.
Haru put his lips on the flute gently and gracefully and blew on it.
'Swooh.. Shoo... Soooo'
"..."
'Shoooooow'
Haru's cheeks started getting red as he blew on it but no pleasant sound came out of the flute.
The kids around started giggling, and the adults also had a smile on their faces as they looked at this funny scene.
"Why can't I do it?" asked Haru with tears coming from his eyes.
"You'll have to practice for days before you can master it, kid."
"But it looks so easy, don't I just have to blow in this hole? Why does it sound so different?"
"There are techniques to it, how about this. You try it for a few days if you still can't learn I'll teach you personally. How does that sound?"
"Okay, that's a deal," said Haru with a smile.
"Okay, how much does this cost?" Mikoto asked the shopkeeper.
"It's a gift from me, ma'am. How can I charge such a lovely child?"
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, I'm quite sure."
"Haru, say thank you to the uncle."
"Thank you, uncle," said Haru while bowing.
