The old madam watched Chi Lian going upstairs slowly and looking sad and exhausted like a wounded animal. 

"Hurry up and come for something to eat, I am sure that you have not had a bite since morning." 

"Yes grandma." she replied without looking back. 

The old madam sighed and felt pity for her granddaughter-in-law that was being tossed up and down because of her involvement in the entertainment industry. 

"Matriarch," the old madam's personal maid and assistant approached her and said, "That singer is giving a press conference right now." 

"Show me." the old madam said. 

The maid Ai Wan showed old madam the press conference which was being shown live online.  Du Moxi was sitting in a café somewhere because of the baristas and snacks behind her. On the table in front of Du Moxi was a cup of tea or coffee that she was sipping as elegantly as she could.
