Capítulo 247: Good parents

 Soon, the cars arrived at the ice fishing camp of Nanjing. For miles, all one could see was ice and snow. There was no greenery at all.

This was because the lake would freeze up completely so people would take this chance to have fun on the frozen lake. Evidence of such fun could be seen even before they stepped out of the cars.

Some youthful boys and girls who were full of spirit and positive cheer were skating on the ice and chasing each other around.

While Chi Lian loved skating and she would very much have loved to engage in this risky activity, she did not want her children participating in it. It was better not to tempt the devil. Skating on a frozen lake was fun but if the ice cracked and one fell inside, the chances of survival were minimum.
