Capítulo 42: He wants to be a father

Chi Lian was pleasantly surprised to see Jun Muyang appear with her sweet baby Mei-Mei in her office. The uncanny likeness between the two in the bright light of day was quite frankly disturbing. If one were to observe carefully, one would notice that they had the same nose and brown eye color.

Driven by motherly instinct and caution, she reached out and took Mei-Mei from his arms.

"Why are you here with Mei-Mei, is everything okay at home?" Part of her was unsettled by this sudden visit.

"I need to talk to you about something rather important and Mei-Mei is part of it so I figured we could all go out and spend some time together.

"Huh." She looked totally lost.

Her mind was racing with dozens of questions at the moment. What was he going to ask her? What was it about and why did it concern Mei-Mei? Was he going to marry her?

This was so sudden_.

What was she going to say if he asked for her hand in marriage?
