Capítulo 96: DANGEROUS MAN

Lucas didn't say anything but ate few more spoons. Magdalene twitched her dress nervously. Everyone was also looking forward to what the Lord had to say. When Magdalene was expecting him to say something he still didn't. He tasted every single dish she had made. Magdalene stood beside him like an obedient student waiting for the praise of the teacher.

"Good" Lucas said to her

Magdalene grinned from ear to ear. It was one of her brightest smiles. She heard that this man never gave compliments. Him saying it was good was enough for her.

The members of the castle was quite surprised at this.

"Sit Maggie" Lucas told her.

She cleared her throat and the butler drew the nearest chair to Lucas for her. Magdalene didn't mind but sat quietly.

The servants moved to serve her but she raised her hand indicating she didn't want to eat.

"No need I'm fine" She replied politely. During the course of cooking she had eaten a little so she didn't have much of an appetite.
