pretty good story it's rare you have an evil protag that's written relatively well. I personally think the powers are cool can't wait to see where it goes from here
Have you read the novel the demonic sword? In all honesty, it's a good idea but poorly executed. The world building is nice, and the character designs were pretty good. But the powers are just confusing as hell, and that part feels massively rushed. Obviously a character gets stronger as time goes on, but i feel like the whole Ashura thing got revealed way too early and the different "systems" (shadows, chaos, darkness, the eye, forgemastering, the new body,...) were put way too close togheter, which makes it a confusing mess. Give the readers time to digest the powers and how they work because releasing them so close to one another just makes it confusing. The worldbuilding is great, though, and im a pretty big fan of how the politics work. But the power system needs work.

I hope you do multiverse xianxia apocalypse starting from earth next after you finish this book. something like defiance of the fall i really like this idea but it’s never been done how i like and i think with your writing style you will do it very good
Easily one of the best webnovels I’ve read. As the name of the title implies, the mc and his actions are a bit gruesome, but fortunately he isn’t edgy. Also the world building and character development are top notch.
Great. A bit sad I have read the novel that clearly heavily influences this. Which does greatly reduce how unique this would've felt to read. Luckily, I'm enjoy the deviations this novel brings.

I’m going to keep it real the first 75ish chapters are way too similar to “birth of the demonic sword” from his birth circumstances to how they develop and even his mentors just they come in earlier anyways after that it truly starts differing and I can see how it does in fact become much more original which is nice overall good read.
This is what Birth of the Demonic Sword should have been but never managed to. This is a masterpiece. This is fantastic. This is god-tier. I literally finished the whole book in three days, all 500 chapters and can't wait for more...
This novel is above average but warning to those wanting to read; if you don’t want the plot to always revolve around the mc. This is not wht u re searching for. His need’s basically get fulfill every time just like that. He faced too many near deaths but somehow he get past to it and after the chp 100 it gets to annoying everytime him getting spotlight with some bs reasons. But it is good for spending time or for newbie.
After reading 360 chapters, the story finally lost me. The world is very well developed with plenty to keep you wanting to learn more about, and the cultivation system seems much better than a lot of cultivation novels. My issue with the story, however, is Liam. Our MC is not a hero, he's ruthless and cold and will not allow anything to stop him from reaching his lofty ambitions. The sad problem with this type of character is that they're incredibly one dimensional and lack any depth most times because that's all they focus on. Overall a good read if you want an evil MC who doesn't budge tho.

first of all, it's a gorey story, so not for the faint of heart. The story is written in a way that it really captures your attention; it is immersive. The dialogues aren't just there to fill paper but are actually enjoyable. The main character has his own complexities but has never strayed from the path he's chosen. This isn't time pass material, you'll have to really sit down for this one. All in all, I recommend it to the lovers of antagonistic/cold blooded MCs.
It's my first time writing a review ..but I had to because I think it's underrated.. Those who say it's a copy of birth of demonic sword.. are like the previous me ..who don't have the patience to read much and drop after a few chapters.. Its better than birth of demonic sword..i read about 350 chapters in 2days ..no other story excited me this much ..its my first fav now..previously my fav was scoundrel with exchange system ..its better than any novel i have read so far.. it would have been nice if the mother didn't die..but found some business of her own..but everything else is completely to my liking..it would be nice..if someone could recommend me more like this to read..

Hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh this one was a little bit more complicated than the others so it wasn’t a bad thing but i was kinda scared of the fact it wasn’t the best but i just didn’t like it and i was scared of the bad ending and the ending and the bad end so it just wasn’t the right one lol but i guess i just didn’t know it wasn’t bad at the time and it wasn’t that good so it wasn’t that it wasn’t good enough for the bad end and i just didn’t know (idk why bad end came up so much but I was just tapping the middle suggestion in my phone) Besides that bs I just spewed this novel is top tier
Story is well written and good. Sometimes story feels disconnected fir some chapters well it kept the intrest and maintained the pace. It makes me remember noah balvan from mcs techniques and background . Keep it up Thanks for the story though😋
I am liking this novel a lot. There are small things that are not written well or are unsatisfactory according to me, but its passable. The only issue or problem with this novel is the ranking system. There are three different rankings for the three forms of power. Then there is a fourth ranking which is based on the accumulation of the three previous rankings. The problem is that this fourth ranking is not specifically mentioned about how it is formed or what combination of the 3 rankings make each of the fourth combined one. Then there is the issue of the item rankings. Higher rank beasts are used to make lower rank weapons which somehow have their own rankings. i would like to suggest making a clear chapter in the start, before the novel begins, properly indicating all the rankings and a bit about what constitutes them. A separate chapter only for the separate three rankings and what combination of them leads to the fourth combined rank.
One of the only webnovels I consistently read everyday, it gives me a reason to sign into webnovel.

Definitely one of the better ones. Although nothing new, an abused child transmigrating to a fantasy world becoming an assassin, it’s very well written and had some good world building. The problem is, the MC is so detached and emotionless with no overlying goal, besides becoming stronger, that it becomes repetitive. Kill, train, forge weapons and repeat. Side characters had potential, but were soon discarded. Doesn’t look like there is a FL. I still like the story, but I feel like the MC character makes an otherwise good story boring, with constant edge lord behavior. Quote: “Do you need other people to cover your weaknesses?” “I have no weaknesses.” Spoilers: I have to say for the first 100 or so chapters I was fascinated with the plot, great pacing and good character development. As soon as he got to the academy things got worse with some plot holes. He seems to be the best genius to ever lived, even though it was stated he had no talent. Some kids in their first year were sent as spy’s to foreign country, cause why not and after falling out with the academy the royal family instead of taking in this incredible genius they wanted to kill him, because they’re big bad nobles, that’s why.
Saying what i think everyone is thinking, the book is pretty much a fanfic of demonic sword. While there are differences in the small details that change the ways things happen the plot points are almost exact same to the point where i already know what's going to happen. Spoilers: Both bad fathers, both picks up mentors a smithing mentor who dies for them, both pick up an initial mentor to start off who gets surpassed and dies for them, both mother kills themselves to not restrain son, both kill abusive sibling and run, both go an academy and dominate as a rare darkness cultivator, both flee the mainland as trouble hits to go join a hidden darkness set, both darkness set patriarchs are looking for a dark inheritor, both Mc's act really similar in mannerisms, both end up having a Op transformation that ends up being a trump card, the list just goes on and on and its just tiring how similar they are.

A solid, generic cultuvation fantasy with an unlikely protagonist. The isekai genre has a problem in general with pre-transmigration character building. I have a hard time believing a mentally unstable kid who was abused until he committed a murder suicide is capable of this.It could be argued that his talents were suppressed by circumstance (aka abusive father), and a fresh chance at life in a magical world unlocked his potential. However, all we get are strange dreams with no indication that he has any untapped potential.By spending so little time exploring Darius King, Liam's new life feels like a fever dream. With that said, the story from this point is as good as most on this platform.Maybe I'm just tired of the isekai, transmigration formula. Take a loser, outcast, pitiful existence and allow them to be reborn in glory with a system or talent they didn't have before and bake it in the oven. In reality, a pathetic kid in one life will just be a magical pathetic kid in the next.Writing trauma, and its effects, is difficult but to ignore the impact of murdering your father and then yourself weakens your story . Truckkun exists as a plot device for a reason (clean, unexpected break). If you want a spicier pre-transmigration plot, spend some more time exploring it.
