Capítulo 245: Black and white, part 2

The conversations rose again as the vampires discussed whether voting for or against was a good idea.

Reiner didn't hurry them.

A minor Clan Head, a relatively young man, picked a black pebble but hesitated to move it. He lifted his eyes to Cael.

"Are you REALLY a vampire? Do you have all our powers?"

Cael smirked. This man, without knowing this, gave him a perfect opportunity to flaunt before everyone—which would only benefit him over the course of the Council.

"All of them," he confirmed, concentrating.

Transforming into a cloud of mist was much easier after the first time. Cael only had to remember the sensations he felt back then, and the world disappeared. A moment later, he transformed back.

He missed most of the gasps and exclamations of shocked vampires, but recovered his ability to see and hear soon enough to witness their astounded expressions.
