When Lex's lips pressed to mine, I felt like everything was right with the world. He was kissing me. He loved me. And that was all I wanted. Well, not all, but it was moving in the right direction. 

The explosion of passion and Lex's unique flavor on my tongue was much more powerful than I ever expected it to be. The passion, desire, and heat it sparked in me was so strong that it almost made me growl and claw at Lex in desperation. As it was, my wolf howled in my ears, telling me she was happy about the path this night was taking. 

Being a more magical being, my wolf and I didn't have the strongest of connections. I take more after the Warlock and Fae sides of the family, but my wolf is very powerful, and just as driven by desire as any other primal beast would be. I knew that, with this night being as important as it was, she was going to fight me for dominance. I wasn't sure if I wanted to let her take over.
