After that little scene with Hel in the throne room, the others were trying to make me want to stay. They amped up their energy and excitement levels, and spoke animatedly, as we moved through the castle. I didn't have the heart to tell them that they didn't need to do that. I'd made a commitment, and I wasn't going to back out now.

"Of course, it's only a formality, showing you this castle. You will be living in the other one, after all. The general layout of many of the rooms are the same, though."

"That's good. I'll be able to find my way around easily." I looked a little apprehensively at the black castle in the distance, the one they'd commissioned just for me.

"I see that look." Hades laughed as he sidled over toward me. With an arm around my shoulders, he looked at the dark colored building as well. "That nervous and uncertain look. I know what you're thinking."
