We were all tense. There was a lot going on, and I didn't know what to do about it. Here I was, watching that man hold my brother. His grimy and disgusting hands were touching him, and all I wanted to do was make things better for Saylor.

Just the sight of it all was enough to make my blood boil. That man, that disgusting excuse for a Merman, was the one that had tried to assault my dad, and now he wanted to do the same thing to his son. All because he had been caught and tried for his crimes.

And don't get me started on that woman. Ula, that bitch. She was still sitting here and arguing with us, with me, about who she had given birth to. Could she really be that stupid? Honestly?

"I REFUSE TO LISTEN TO THESE LIES ANY LONGER!" The attention was almost entirely on Ula now. I could tell that her, the rage she was emanating, and her potential for insanity was commanding the thoughts of everyone in the room. Well, almost everyone.
