"My mate." I just couldn't stop whispering the words to myself. "My mate. My mate. My mate." It was amazing to think those words and to know that they were true. That the woman of my dreams was standing right in front of me.

Then again, it was funny that I knew this person. That I had met her and hadn't thought twice about her that way. She was Talia's friend, someone that was off limits in my mind, before this very moment. I had never thought that this would happen, but now that it had, it felt so right. Like it was meant to be. And well, wasn't it meant to be?

This was the woman that fate had sent to me. The woman that was supposed to be the one I was with from now to the end of time. She and I were a team, a pair, and that meant that we were made for each other. I just can't believe that fate would have made my mate someone that had been in my life, and then make me wait and search for that person.
