Well, things in my life were certainly changing. I mean, I had met that guy from last year, that one that I had crushed on so hard that I dreamt about him when I was back at home with my dad. On top of that, I had been attacked in the second of two very serious attempts on someone's life at the university this semester.

I wasn't sure who was right here, Reagan or Rika. They had differing opinions on what was happening, and that made me uncertain. Was I targeted for something, or was I in the wrong place at the wrong time? Either way, I didn't like going to the campus at night alone anymore. And, because of that, I had been staying with Beech and his roommates (brother and cousin) since the night that I had almost died.
