I had been spending a lot of time with Elias lately. I had met his family and they had accepted me and loved me. His dad, Noah, was the nicest man that I had ever met, and his mom Nikki was so sweet. She offered to take me shopping to get to know me better, and I couldn't help but accept. I was loving all of these things that were happening since I had technically 'mated' with Elias.

I was still learning about his culture and what mating was all about, but I understood the basics. There was magic at play here. Magic that was so powerful that even I was able to feel it. And because of that magic, I knew what Elias was to me, what he meant to me.
