Pyndal crumpled to the ground, writhing in agony, sprawled on his back. Uzana, without a hint of hesitation, plunged his sword into Pyndal's remaining leg, deliberately rending and tearing through the flesh.

Pyndal convulsed violently, the torment overwhelming. The pain he experienced was beyond excruciating.

"By this act, you have fulfilled your oath to the throne of Cescil, Pyndal," Uzana declared as he withdrew his sword, his gaze icy and yet masking the internal torment he felt.

"Now return to your wife and children, at home. You are forever scarred. You are no longer the General of War of the Kingdom of Cescil."
