"T–Together?" Jin Jiuchi asked in surprise, fearing that he had misheard given how Shen Nianzu always rejected all his invitations to shower together before. 

That's right, despite having done these intimate acts, Shen Nianzu could be considered reserved and demure once they got out of bed. He vehemently blocked Jin Jiuchi outside the door, claiming that he did not like to expose himself while bathing. Yet earlier, he just invited Jin Jiuchi to shower together… right??

"We're really gonna shower together?!" Jin Jiuchi asked again, unable to hold back his excitement. If he had a tail, it would have wagged hard like a helicopter blade by now.

Shen Nianzu shot him a bashful yet somewhat annoyed glare. "What, did your ears suddenly malfunction?"

"No, no!" Jin Jiuchi hastily shook his head before the jade doll could change his mind. He would really cry if that were to happen! "I heard you just fine the first time. Let's shower together!"
