Night came and every place in the city was shrouded in the dark, due to the sombre shine of the lacklustre lunate Moon that was printed on the clouded sky and the absence of other heavenly bodies.

I sat on the dressing table doing nothing in particular, It been two hours since the guard announced is arrival, and yet he wasn't back.

'What if he decided to stay and take another woman to bed.'

'What if...' My thought were preoccupied after inhaling the smell of lavender mixed with peppermint. The smell was so strong that I thought he was right behind me.

Was he back? Why wasn't him coming in if he was back? Maybe I have been deliberating too much about him that his scent in the room became stronger, as if he has been here.

Greatness! I need to stop thinking about him when in reality, he doesn't care about me or my feelings anytime he decides to mess around.
