Capítulo 53: Bellamy
[Paradise, Jaya]
The city on the west side of Jaya is a gathering place of chaotic people where there is no law. Here people attack, sing, and laugh with each other. It's the city of mockery, 'Mock Town'.
At one of the city blocks, dozens of pirates were gathered in a circle watching a fighting competition. It's a competition held to decide who's worthy of being called the champion in hand-to-hand combat.
Two men were fighting at center, one of them was Krieg.
"Horaaa!!"
Thud! Bam!
"AGHH!!" With a powerful punch in the stomach Krieg rendered his opponent unconscious.
"Pathetic, you call yourselves fighters? Garbage like you aren't worthy of calling themselves that" Krieg complained while holding the defeated man by the collar before he dropped him "With this, I'm the champion! Kuhahaha!"
"You, big guy…" A drunken guy approached Krieg.
"Hey, do you know me? I'm the world's strongest man" Krieg declared in confidence.
"You messed with the wrong person--hic! Look carefully, that man is with Roshio!" The drunken guy said "A few days ago, I saw some guy win against Roshio in a game of cards and he got killed by Roshio on the spot. That man is crazy."
At Wild Cherry bar in Mock Town, two figures could be seen playing poker.
"With this, you'll have nothing left" One of them said, a muscular man wearing a headband with his jolly roger on it. He has long white dreadlocks and his left arm is tattooed with skulls and red pattern "Now…hehe, are you going to bet with your underpants too?"
[Captain of Roshio's Pirates 'Roshio the Executioner', Dead or Alive 42,000,000 Berries]
"All of this money is mine now" Roshio reached out to grab the money before his hand was stabbed with a knife by the other guy.
He is a tall man with tan skin and short, unkempt blond hair, a scar above his right eye and tattoos of eye-like designs on his arms.
"…?!!!...GYAAAHH!!!"
"You cheated just now, didn't you?"
"What did you say?! Don't try to cause trouble! When did I do that?!"
"You did, you cheated just now!"
"Hey, who does that kid think he's messing around with! That game looked perfectly legit!" The bar owner exclaimed.
"Never mind that, be careful what you say! That's 'Bellamy the Hyena', he's young but already has a bounty of over 50 million on his head" Someone stated.
Bellamy turned to one of his crew members who was sitting far away at the counter and drinking "Sarquiss!...SARQUISS!!"
"Huh? What is it?"
"You saw it too, right? This guy cheated." Bellamy asked him
"Cheated?...Ah!" His crew member looked confused by Bellamy's question but he went along with it "Hahaha…Yeah…That guy cheated, I saw it too!"
Roshio was furious at that "You bastards are talking crap! It seems like you don't know who I am!--"
Bellamy immediately smashed a bottle of alcohol at Roshio's head before he pulled out a pistole and shot him multiple times.
"UGH!!" After that Bellamy kicked him out of the window.
"GYHAHAHA, HYAHAHAHAHA!!"

"Sarquiss! Let's go, I heard some big shots just arrived at town"
"Must be some trash pirates again, people here tend to exaggerate" Sarquiss responded as he and the rest of Bellamy Pirates got up and followed their captain.

"This town is a little crazy" Kai remarked while he along with some of the crew strolled around the city looking for a place where they could eat and rest. Only Kureha, Gin, Heat and Wire stayed behind to guard the ship.
"Looks like a fun place to me" Kid said.
A few minutes later the group was at the Pub and Pies bar, currently the place is full of people and all of them look like pirates and criminals. Kai specifically came to this place since he wanted to try the famous Cherry Pie that they serve.
The group was sitting in front of the counter, Killer was speaking with bartender.
"This is Mocktown, it was more or less built on money from pirates. The way pirates spend money is like spilling water" The bartender said "Even though they see fighting and killing as an everyday thing, they rarely attack the citizens. After all what good is money if there is nowhere to spend it at?"
Killer nodded his head in understanding "I see, have any more important info?"
"Well, it takes 4 days to reset the Log Pose. I advise you not to get into trouble until then" The bartended said.
"Hey, old man!" Bonney shouted at once.
The bartender was startled "Hmm? What is it little girl?"
"*Much*-*Munch*…*Gulp*…This Cherry Pie tastes so good!!!" She said while shoving a big slice in her mouth.
Kai agreed with her "Yeah, it's not that bad actually"
Kid proceeded to drink a glass of soda "*Gulp*…*Thud*…This soda taste so bad!!"
"I'm not the cook so I don't really care"
"Old man, bring 50 more Cherry Pies. I'm still hungry!" Bonney ordered.
Kai was taken aback by that quantity "I'm still surprised at how much you can eat"
While everyone was enjoying their time, the bar went silence after a certain figure pushed the doors opened and walked in.
"Is there a pirate with red hair in here?"
"It's Bellamy!!" Everyone looked nervous at his presence.
The crew's attention was also shifted to Bellamy after hearing that description, after all there is only two people with a distinct red hair in the entire bar.
"Looks like trouble came to find us this time" Killer said.
Saga's hand reached for his katana, ready to draw the weapon and fight if it's necessary, while Bonney didn't care about the situation and kept on eating.
Bellamy grinned maniacally before his eyes caught Kai and Kid drinking and eating at the counter "Hmm…So your head is worth 156 million, 'Red Demon' Eustass Kai" He said while holding Kai's wanted poster in his hand. He slowly approached the two brothers while his crew entered the bar and made themselves comfortable.
"Did you hear that? That red hair guy is worth a 156 million"
"Which one, there is two?"
"Murmur…Murmur…"
"Hey, Bellamy…Are you sure about this? he's still someone with a 156 million bounty. It might be better to just leave them be" Sarquiss advised Bellamy. Although he's very loyal to him, he is a bit uncertain about his captain's actions this time.
"Don't start talking like a pussy, bounties don't mean shit these days. I'm sure it's just exaggerated, there is no way a punk like him has that kind of bounty" Bellamy said as he walked to Kai and Kid's side and gazed at them for a moment, looking confused at which one he saw on the poster.
Kid glared back at him before he yelled "Piss off!"
Bellamy's forehead veins bulged from anger, but he did not take any actions against Kid "You two must be related…which one of you fuckers is Kai?"
"That will be me…" Kai responded while taking a sip from his drink "…Need something?"
Bellamy grinned before he turned to the bartender and ordered a drink "Give me your most expensive drink. And get this guy whatever he wants"
"Okay." The bartender quickly prepared the drinks and brought them.
"Well, drink up"
"Appreciate it" Kai knew what Bellamy was up to, but he went along with it. The moment he put the glass on his mouth and started drinking, Bellamy tried to sneak attack him by smashing his head down against the counter. But unfortunately for him, Kai easily predicted that and swiftly tilted his head to the side and Bellamy's hand end up destroying the counter.
CRASH!!
"Waah! There he goes!!"
"?!" Bellamy was surprised at Kai dodging him, but he was even more surprised by the blades of Killer and Saga pointed at his neck.
"You dare to point you weapons at me trash?"
"I need to fix that cocky attitude you have apparently" Killer responded.
"I've met a lot of pirates like you in my career as a bounty hunter…and none of them survived my blade" Saga added.
"All right, I hope you're ready" Kai got up from his seat before he cracked his knuckles and neck muscles "Don't come to hunt me after your death"
"Hey, those guys are gonna take on Bellamy!"
"Hahahaha! Do it! Do it!" The pirates at the bar started cheering.
"HAHAHAHA!! This isn't a fight it's just a test!" Bellamy laughed maniacally "I'm here to see if you have what takes to join my crew in this New Age of pirates!"
"New Age?" Kid questioned.
"Ah…Listen, the age of pirate pipe dreams is over! The lost city of gold? The emerald city? The great treasure of One Piece? The fools who go looking for their dream treasure cannot notice what's in front of them!..."
"…in this era of the sea, the ones who lack real strength are the ones who are killed by their own imagination!!...'They were lucky to die chasing their dream!!' Hahaha! I say they're all losers!!"
"…"
Everyone stood in silence after hearing Bellamy's speech before Kid broke the silence "Take it back"
"Huh?"
"I said take it back!" Kid was enraged by Bellamy's speech, he glared at him with menacing look "Seems to me you're the fucking loser here, anyone who doesn't have the resolve to risk their lives chasing their goals and dreams…has no place on the sea!"
"Don't tell me you're one of those dreamers?" Bellamy mocked.
"A single dream is more powerful than a thousand realities" Kai said "We will find the One Piece, and before that we will find the lost city of gold while you will stay here and achieve nothing in your life"
"…"
"BWAHAHAHA!!"
"HAHAHAHAHA!!"
"Did he say the One Piece? the city of gold?! Give me a break!!" Everyone burst out laughing including Bellamy.
"I'll fucking kill you" Kid muttered.
SWOOOSH!! BAAAAM!!! Without a notice, Kai surprised Bellamy and grabbed him by the face before he slammed him to the ground, rendering him unconscious at the spot.
"BELLAMY!!!" Sarquiss shouted at Bellamy's direction. He could not believe that his captain was defeated with one move.
Everyone at the bar shared the same reaction.
"H-He defeated Bellamy that easily!"
"He's 156 million bounty seems legit after all"
"Damn it! You bastards fight dirty!" Sarquiss and the rest of Bellamy's crew already took out their weapons and prepared to fight.
Kid's hands crackled with magnetic energy, attracting all the metal weapons and object in the bar and even outside of it towards him.
"Is that some kind of devil fruit power?!" Sarquiss exclaimed while struggling to keep hold of his giant dagger.
"Repel!!" Kid repelled everything back afterwards, injuring dozens of the pirates that were at the bar.
FWOOOSH! BAAAM!! Kid then lunged at Sarquiss and punched him in the face, breaking his nose, jaw and teeth while sending him crashing out of the bar unconscious.
"My bar!!" The owner cried out.
"Sorry about that" Saga apologized.
Kid proceeded to beat up every person at the bar until they passed out "Tsk, they aren't even worth calling a warmup"
Kai was standing near the unconscious Bellamy, he glanced at him one last time before he walked away, leaving the bar "Let's go everyone, we're done here"
A few minutes later,
Bellamy regained his conscious again.
"Bellamy!!"
"The hell do you want?!! Leave me alone!!!"
"It's about the guy who knocked you out!"
"What?!"
"The Government just issued a new bounty on his head!" The man proceeded to show Bellamy a wanted poster, his facial expressions immediately changed when he saw it "The two red hair guys are actually brothers…"
"…and their heads are worth 300 million Berries!!"

[A Certain Sea in Paradise]
A big raft made up of gigantic tree logs and flying the Jolly Roger of the Blackbeard Pirates could be seen drifting on the water.
Boarding it is Blackbeard and his crew of four. Blackbeard himself was sitting on the edge of the raft, a wide grin stretching across his face while he was reading a newspaper.
"Zehahaha!!...Those brats are not that bad at all, maybe I should've captured them when I had the chance…could've got some recognition from the World Government"
Laffite had creepy grin on his face. He adjusted his hat before speaking "Don't worry captain, I'm sure we will have a chance to meet them again in the near future"
"I'm still angry about my humiliation against that pink haired girl and the guy with golden armor! I'll make sure to pay them back if we cross paths again!...I will enjoy smashing their skulls, Wiiihahaha!" Burgess exclaimed while flexing his muscles.
"Things will get interesting from now on, soon a new era will start…I will make sure to be the one at the lead, Ze-haha--ZEHAHAHA!!"

Ace was riding his small boat in the middle of the sea before he noticed the newspaper bird flying towards his direction. When it approached him, he took out a golden coin from his pocket and threw it to the bird, prompting it to drop the newspaper and fly away afterwards.
"Wow! It's those guys I met at Drum Kingdom!" Ace exclaimed while reading the bounties "Hee…It seems that Luffy is gonna have a hell of a rivals"
[The Eustass Pirates continued their rampaging campaign and this time the victim is the Marines. Upon destroying two warships and defeating a Vice Admiral and a Rear Admiral, the Government decided to issue new bounties on them…]
