Capítulo 49: Vice Admiral Comil
After stealing Akehende's power, Kai ordered the crew to loot the Marine Warship and taking everything valuable from it before burning it down.
They also moved the Victoria Punk from the Port into another location to avoid the people's eyes. Kai thought that the marines will most likely find about the Rear Admiral's death in few days.
But he still did not let his guards down and he was planning to leave the place as soon as possible.
A few hours later…
Everyone was relaxing inside the ship, Kid, Kai, Killer, Heat and Wire were playing cards in the captain's cabin, Bonney was eating in the kitchen, Kureha was drinking, Krieg was checking his equipment and Gin was testing his new powers in the practice room.
"It's my win again" Kai declared with a smirk as he placed the cards in his hands. Kid's veins bulged from anger, and he slammed the table with his hand.
"How do you win every time?!!" He exclaimed while glaring at his brother, Killer chuckled at his reaction and didn't not speak any words "You must be cheating!!"
With a mocking tone of voice, Kai replied "Are you a retard? How can you lose ten times out of ten? You just suck" His words made Heat and Wire burst out of laughing.
"The hell did you say?!--" The moment the two were about to start a fight, they felt a very strong presence approaching their location using Observation Haki.
"…?!!" Kid and Kai were immediately alerted by that since they were on guard incase more enemies came after them. But they didn't expect them to arrive so soon.
Everyone was alerted seeing the twin actions.
"What is it?" Killer questioned as he got up from his seat.
Kai answered with a serious face "Someone strong is coming!!" his forehead was covered in cold sweat as he felt the overwhelming presence approaching. Killer proceeded to inform everyone before they walked out, examining the ship's surroundings.
The Victoria Punk was docked near a small beach on the other side of the island to avoid the navy's eyes in case they arrive, but it seems that it didn't matter. Right outside the beach there is a dense forest.
"Is it the marines?" Bonney asked, Gin was looking around with a spyglass before he noticed a figure running towards the ships, behind him are a few dozen marine soldiers.
"Comil-san! It's the pirate ship that belongs to the Eustass Pirates!" Marine Captain Shu stated while pointing at the Victoria Punk ahead. He wears a veil across his mouth and what appears to be a Newsboy cap version of the standard Marine uniform cap or a turban. His hair can be barely spotted, growing out from under his cap.
"Is that so…*Shing*" Comil proceeded to unsheathe his dual katana and approached the ship along with his men.
Kai and the crew left the ship and got ready to meet the incoming enemy at the beac with, Kai standing at the front of the group, the exceptions are Killer who is very injured and can't fight and Kureha.
As Vice Admiral Comil arrived, he stopped for a moment standing a few feet away from the young pirates. From his facial expressions he appeared to be extremely angry because he witnessed Akehende's destroyed ship and the bodies of the soldier that were with him when he arrived at the port earlier.
Kai didn't look as calm as he usually appears, after assessing the strength of the man standing in front of him, he concluded that he's extremely dangerous "Be careful, this guy is no joke" he warned.
"We have no choice, if he wants to pick a fight with us then let him come. I'll make sure to send him to hell!" Kid declared as his hands crackled with magnetic energy.
"Where is Akehende? I couldn't find his body among the dead people that you killed" Comil asked, his anger was evident from the way he spoke.
"I have no idea who you're talking about" Kai responded.
"Very well, I'll ask those questions after I beat you up…ARREST THEM!!" With a powerful voice, Comil commanded his men, prompting them to charge at the crew while he himself joined them as well.
"HAAA!!" Kid raised his arm in the air attracting various metals and even the enemy weapons and used them to form a giant harpoon gun around his arm, from which he fired several metals spears at a high speed akin to a gatling gun.
"Punk Pistols!!"
FWOOSH! FWOOSH!
"Soru!" Comil easily dodged the arrows using Soru before he closed the distance at Kid while swinging his dual swords vertically in an attempt to cut him. Kid quickly reacted by reshaping the metal gun into a shield to protect himself.
Unfortunately, the shield wasn't strong enough and got easily destroyed by Comil's attack, sending Kid rolling back on the ground with an injured arm.
"Damn it…" Kid cursed under his breath while standing up again.
"Don't attack blindly and keep your distance when you're not attacking him!" Kai exclaimed, appearing beside Kid before he used Soru as well to dash at Comil.
"He's fast!" Comil was taken aback by Kai speed, but it still wasn't enough to match someone like him who is not only proficient at using the marine Rokushiki techniques but also at using both types of Haki, Armament Haki and Observation Haki.
To become a Vice Admiral, one needs to know how to use both types of Haki, and Comil was no different.
This time Kai wasn't going to hold back or play around, and he decided to go all out. He grabbed Shichiseiken's hilt and unsheathed it, prompting the sword to glow with a green energy. It was the perfect time to see if this sword is as useful as he thinks it is.
SWOOOOSH!! Kai appeared above Comil, with his sword covered in radiant green energy before he launched a powerful, green-colored flaming sword slash towards the Vice Admiral.
"Mystic Fire Slash!!"
FWOOSH!! BAAAM!! Comil swiftly turned back and swung one of his katanas, redirecting the attack away. When the slash hit the ground, it created a big explosion.
"What a weird weapon you have" he remarked before using Geppo and Soru to fly towards Kai while swinging his katanas downwards in an attempt to slash him.
Kai couldn't dodge in time but thanks to his Logia body the swords passed through him without causing any injuries.
"Yeah, I forgot that one of you had a Logia power…what was it? Clouds?" Comil questioned, this time clenching his swords tightly before imbuing them with Armament Haki, making them pitch black.
He quickly swung his weapons at his opponent again. This time Kai was ready and while using his Observation Haki he narrowly avoided a fatal attack, but he still got cut on his left arm.
"Shit!!...He's using Haki!" Kai landed on the ground before jumping a few meters back, creating some distance between him and his enemy "Are you a Vice Admiral?" he asked.
"Good guess" Comil replied.
'A Vice Admiral, this is really not good. We're not strong enough to face this guy' Kai thought in his head before he noticed Kid charging at Comil again.
"What's wrong with you?! Too scared to move?!" Kid mocked his brother with a grin.
Kai looked visibly irritated by that "Too scared?...In your fucking dream!" With a loud roar he joined Kid in his attack.
"It doesn't matter if you attack at the same time, I will crush you all!" Comil declared before unleashing two massive flying slash at the two brothers.
Both of them used to Soru to dodge before attacking. Kai summoned a thunder cloud from his right arm and from it, he generated a large lightning bolt.
He proceeded to grab it with his hand and hurled it towards Comil at a high speed.
"Indra's Vajra!!"
Lightning! Lightning!
"A lightning bolt?...BAAAM!!" A strong electrical charge was unleashed at Comil, who used Haki around his body to protect himself.
At the same time, Kid approached him and then he attracted a large quantity of metal from his surroundings and shaped it in the form of a gigantic skull-faced demon-like golem made of scrap. The demon is composed of a floating torso with two disembodied arms, with Kid seating himself on its back and controlling it from there.
"Punk Rotten!!"
After forming it, Kid made the golem crush the Vice Admiral with both hands.
"Punk Vise!!"
BOOOOM!! Kid tried to crush him with all his force, Comil appeared to be struggling to keep the golem's hands off at first, but then he quickly coated his katanas with Haki and cut them in pieces.
"What the hell?!" Kid was visibly surprised upon seeing that. The Vice Admiral left him no time to react and with a powerful slash he destroyed the golem and sent Kid flying back after throwing a mouthful of fresh blood from his mouth.
Kai used that chance to attack Comil seeing that he got distracted by Kid, he lunged at him from behind using Soru before attempting to slash him in the back.
Unfortunately, he severely underestimated the Vice Admiral's Observation Haki power. Comil swiftly dropped one of his katanas on the ground before turning back, parring Kai's sword and then grabbing him with his Haki coated hand by the shoulder.
"You think you can injure me that easily?!..." he said with a serious look before he clenched his katana tightly and was about to stab Kai in the chest "This is it for you, 'Red Demon' Eustass Kai!"
"KAI!!!" Kid's eyes widened in shock, but before Comil could stab him a certain pink haired girl came to his rescue.
"Don't forget about me…" Bonney jumped at Comil from behind, a certain memory from a few years back was flooding into her mind…

DOOM DUT DA DA!! DOOM DUT DA DA!! Bonney and Kuma were laughing while mimicking the Nika's dance and Drums of Liberation.
After they finished, Bonney was curious about something, and she proceeded to ask her dad about it.
"Hey, Daddy…What did Nika look like?" She asked.
With a smile, Kuma proceeded to answer "No one knows, but they say his body was all rubbery and there was no limit to what he could do in a fight"

"Distorted Future!!... Give me a future where I'm Nika!!" Bonney aged herself up into a possible future version of her where she became Nika. Her right arm grew and stretched into a giant-sized arm before smacking Comil from behind and sending him rolling on the ground.
Kai who was released from Comil's hands looked at Bonney in complete shock "What the in the world was that?!!"
