Capítulo 32: Krieg and Gin Fight the Marines
Kyuka Island…Hungry Granger Tavern,
Krieg, Gin, Fullbody, Jango and the marines faced each other inside the tavern, after the latter two came searching for them by Hina's orders.
"You're under arrest for the crimes of piracy, calmly turn yourselves in, Don Krieg!…or we will take drastic measures" Fullbody declared while leading dozens of men along with Jango. Upon those words the marines aimed their weapons at Krieg and Gin waiting for orders.
Krieg slowly stood from his chair while gazing at the marines in hostility before he approached Fullbody and glared at him "I don't like your face… why don't drop dead for me?"
"Huh--?!"
*GUN-SHOT*-*GUN-SHOT* Without a notice, Krieg pulled out two pistoles while revealing the gun-barrels under his shoulders before he fired at Fullbody and the marines.
"Take cover!!" Fullbody shouted as he jumped to the side avoiding the bullet shots before he took cover behind a table, Jango did the same. But unfortunately, some of the other marines weren't quick to react and a few of them got shot.
All the civilians who were hanging out in the tavern started running away in panic after that, leaving the place empty with only the marines, Krieg and Gin wreaking havoc.
"Can we not fight in my place?!!" The owner showed up shortly after, anger evident in his facial expressions and his tone of voice, but Krieg had something else to say, aiming his pistol at him.
"Shut up, don't interrupt...*GUN-SHOT*!!" Krieg did not hesitate to end the man's life on the spot because of that.
"You bastard!" Jango got out of his hide before he pulled out his chakram weapons and threw them at Don Krieg in an attempt to decapitate him.
FWOOSH! CLANG! CLANG! But before they make contact with Krieg, Gin suddenly appeared in front of him and used his tonfa to block the flying chakram, sending them flying back towards Jango who managed to swiftly grab them again.
"Gin…" Jango muttered, as he gazed at Gin who confidently approached him.
"You're no match for him!" Gin exclaimed before he lunged towards Jango at a high speed while swinging his tonfa in a straightforward, very fast jab, aiming to pierce his opponent's defenses.
Jango utilized his chakram again and tried to block Gin's attack, but the result was his weapons flying away upon contact and being disarmed.
"Demonic Thrust!!" Gin wasted no time after that and proceeded to use the 'Man-Demon Tactics' his unique fighting style and thrusted his tonfa into Jango's chest sending him crashing into the tavern's tables.
"Shit—BAAM!!" Jango threw a mouthful of blood upon receiving the attack while barely holding onto his consciousness.
Although Jango used to be a member of the Black Cat Pirates in East Blue with a bounty of 9,000,000 Berry, he is not particularly formidable and most of it was because of his captain's reputation, Kuro of a Hundred Plans.
"Don't spare any of them, Gin!!" Krieg shouted.
"A-AGHH! Wait Gin--BAAM!!"
Without uttering a word, Gin leaped forward at Jango who was struggling to get on his feet, and with one of his tonfas swinging he landed in a crouched position, slamming one of them down onto Jango's head.
"Demonic Dance!!" Upon receiving that attack, Jango's head was smashed into the ground, his eyes rolled back, and he immediately passed out, drowning in his own blood.
"JANGO!!" Fullbody looked at him in concern and tried to run to help him but not before Krieg stopped his way.
"You dare to turn your attention away from me?!" Krieg exclaimed before he removed his coat and gloves, revealing a set of 'Diamond Fists', metal gauntlets with a small diamond over each knuckle and a larger one on the back of each hand. Combined with Krieg's natural strength, these can shatter a full-sized mast in one blow and cause immense damage.
Fullbody didn't have any choice but to face Krieg, he proceeded to equip his knuckle dusters which makes his already strong boxing punches more lethal and got into a fighting stance.
As for Gin, he was immediately attacked but the rest of the marines after taking down Jango.
"WRAAH!!—BAAAM!" Krieg let out a loud battle cry before he punched down Fullbody, the latter managed to dodge by leaping backwards, making Krieg's punch connect with the ground instead, creating fissures.
"Hoi hoi, are you kidding me?!" Fullbody was taken aback by Krieg's destructive punches.
"You better give it your all, unless you want your bones smashed" Krieg said with a smirk.
"Tsk…don't get full of yourself, you're no longer the Pirate Fleet Admiral! You're just another crewmember of the Eustass Pirates!" Fullbody exclaimed while lunging at him.
"I don't listen to the clamoring of groveling worms! Your petty insults won't work on me, I know my worth" Krieg calmly said before Fullbody closed the distance and sent a barrage of punches at him.
With a slight grin, Krieg proceeded to pull out a spiky armor and covered himself with it, and when Fullbody's punches made contact with it the spikes pierced his hands causing him to bleed.
"AUGHH!! FUCK! You sly bastard!" Fullbody cursed out loudly from pain, which was met with a mocking laugh from Krieg.
"Kuhahaha! My equipment is the strongest!...This will be your graveyard, marines!" Krieg declared before grabbing his left shoulder plate, aiming it a Fullbody and then fired dozens of spears in a Gatling gun-like fashion" It doesn't matter how, but the strong one is the one who survives"
SPLASH! SPLASH! Fullbody tried to dodge them, but there were simply too many which managed to pierce his skin and brought him down on his knees, causing serious injuries.
"Huff…Huff…damn it! Hina-chan will be disappointed!…I guess this is the end" Fullbody's entire body was covered in blood. He was panting heavily from exhaustion and injuries before he gazed at Krieg who approached him with confidence.
"Don't worry, whoever your boss is, is not gonna survive against the twins" Krieg said, and then he took out his second shoulder plate and locked it with the first one, activating internal devices that produced a shaft and a blade from between "This is 'Strength'!...Behold!"
Krieg declared as he swung his spear down at Fullbody who watched in horror as the 1 ton weapon cleaved him in half while producing a large explosion.
KA-BOOOM!! As the dust settled, the upper half and the lower half of Fullbody were in different position.
"Hmph…are you done Gin?" Krieg turned to Gin who just finished dealing with rest of the marines and nodded with his head.
"Let's leave this shit hole of a tavern"
"The rest might've had a fight as well, I hope they're okay" Gin mentioned while walking beside Krieg and the two left the tavern and walked back to the port.
"If those shitty brothers can defeat me, I the mighty Krieg then there is nothing to worry about. Plus, of they dare to lose, I'll kill them myself" Although Krieg is characterized by arrogance and overconfident due to his constant victories in the past, but his humiliating defeat by the hand of Kai two times in the row opened his eyes a little bit.
And although he still has the same confidence and arrogance, but he doesn't declare absurd things like him being the strongest man in the world. Kai opened his eyes that the world is a big place, and the Grand Line is a totally different sea than the East Blue or any other blue for that matter.
Because of that and only that, he's sailing with the Eustass Pirates, to get stronger and defeat him one day.
As for Gin, he's a man of his word so he wasn't going to betray his captains under any circumstances. He also started harboring respect for them after witnessing their strength, leadership and charisma.
Just as the two finished their fight and walked out of the tavern, they ran into Killer by chance who came searching for them.
"You're Killer, the hell are you doing here?" Krieg questioned.
"Kai sent me to look for you…" Killer replied before glancing at the destroyed building they stepped out from "Not bad, Kai was right about you after all"
"Hmph, don't underestimate me mask boy"
"Were you attacked by marines as well?" Gin asked Killer.
"Yeah, but Kid dealt with their superior and we looted their ship afterwards. Anyway, let's get back for now"

A while later…Back on the Victoria Punk,
Down at the ship's lower deck, Bonney locked up Hina in bridge after putting seastone cuffs on her.
"AGGHH! My head…What are you gonna do to me?" Hina asked, she was still dizzy and having a headache after waking up.
"You should ask the boss when he comes" Bonney replied. Hina tried to break free from her shackles, but she was feeling extremely weak and couldn't use her Devil Fruit either.
"Seastone?...Huff…Huff…you know, kidnapping a marine officer is a serious crime. If the marines were to find out about this, they'll send someone after you"
"Like I said, you should tell that to the boss" Bonney said as she turned back and walked away. She made her way to the upper deck where the rest of the crew gathered.
"She's still unconscious?" Kai asked.
"She just woke up"
"What are you keeping her for anyway?" Kid questioned in curiosity.
"I have something in mind, if it doesn't work, we'll just kill her and move on"
"…"
The crew spent a few days in Kyuka Island after that until the Log Pose was set to their next destination.
