Her tears weren't the only thing flowing.

A look of deep disgust and anger appeared on Essenla's face as she noticed the blood running down the elf woman's legs, mostly on the inside of her thighs. At certain points, it was mixed with a yellow substance that stuck to her legs and diverted the streams of blood.

Morne watched on silently as Essenla attempted to reassure the distraught elf. He hadn't expected to find an elf in this place. How had she gotten here?

More importantly, could she tell them how to get out?

He was about to verbalize those questions when the elf woman let out a shriek of pain and fell flat on her ass, crawling to a corner and curling into a shivering ball as she held back more tears.

"Well, what's this then, Grommett? Elves? No, they're too pale for that," came a voice that sounded like someone had tried to gargle rocks.

Essenla whirled around with a ferocious look, readying her sword. Morne also shifted, looking at the speaker.
