"Are you sure about that?" Tristan smirked.

"Darling, I don't want to be disturbed, as I'll be taking a nap. Kindly drop my food in front of my room and leave. Don't forget to check if the doors are locked." Alistair called out loudly.

Tristan and Seraphina froze as they heard his father's voice.

'Perfect.'

Their eyes met each other's, and a small smile appeared on both of their faces.

"So... about my question earlier...?" Tristan asked softly.

"No."

"Damn."

"Of course I am!" Seraphina yelled back in a rush.

Tristan walked closer to her, ignoring the fact that she was trying to keep distance between them because of his father.

"Maybe I should show you how much I want to spend the night with you." Tristan pulled her close.

"Stop it!" Seraphina pushed him away.
