"I have no time to play games with you. This is your last chance to remove the mark from her," Alexander said coldly.

The bishop, pale-faced, nodded, "I can restore her consciousness."

He was acutely aware that any further refusal would lead Alexander to kill him without hesitation.

Three minutes later, the bishop returned, holding a transparent cup filled with blue water. 

This was the so-called holy water.

"Just have her drink this water, and she will regain her consciousness," the bishop said, glancing at Alexander with a look of awe.

Alexander took the cup and examined it, asking, "Just drinking this water will do?"

"Yes," replied the bishop.

Alexander squinted at the bishop, who felt a pang of fear.

Had he been found out?

Indeed, he had a hidden agenda.

This cup of holy water contained his blood.
