Capítulo 39: Cafeteria chaos II

Roku's eyes narrowed as he glared at Yuichi, his voice cold and menacing, "Pray that our paths never cross again." He stormed off, his fellow soldiers following in his wake.

As the cafeteria emptied out, the air was thick with hushed murmurs and uneasy tension. 

Ava approached Yuichi, her expression a mix of exasperation and concern, before she gently but firmly smacked the side of his head with her arm.

"Trouble seems to follow you wherever you go," She chided. "You've barely arrived and you're already stirring up the soldiers".

Yuichi put the nose mask away in his pocket before responding, "I should be the one getting upset; he bumped into me".

Ava looked at him for a moment before flashing a smile. "Come on, let's go reorder your food." She took Yuichi by the hand and led him towards the food counter.
