"Just call me Prince Elif, and I'm sure you already know who I am, so I won't bother introducing myself; however, do you know why I asked Illumia to bring you to me?"
"No, Prince Elif." Replied Idonea, who had stopped bowing and stood before Elif's throne.
"Well, the reason why I wished to talk with you was that among all of the nobles, you're the only one who interested me." Said Elif while watching Idonea's reaction to his statement.
"Really?" Asked Idonea doubtfully as she found it hard that someone like her could've gained Elif's interest.
"Yes; if not, why would I have Illumia bring you here?" Replied Elif, as he looked at Idonea questioningly.
"I just find it hard to believe that someone as insignificant as me would gain the Prince's interest." Said Idonea, who no longer seemed as nervous as before after observing Elif's personality.
"You've gained my interest, so stop fretting over that; compared to the rest of the nobles, you're far more experienced when it comes to fighting; also, I'm curious about your physique." Stated Elif with curiosity laced in his voice while looking at Idonea.
"The place where I live is quite dangerous, so I've been forced to fight almost every day to survive; however, I've already been tested, and I don't have a special physique." Replied Idonea while showing signs of sadness and hatred halfway through.
"That's weird. Aren't you the daughter of a Baron? Even if he's a low-ranking noble, you should at least be living a slightly better life than a commoner; why aren't you?" Asked Elif curiously with a frown on his face.
"My father is quite irresponsible, so I usually live independently." Answered Idonea while exuding killing intent.
'Hmm, she's giving me the same feeling as the ninth lightning tribulation; I believe they called it killing intent?' Thought Elif while Idonea reined in her killing intent back in.
"Hmm, well, back to your physique; I'm quite confident you have one, as during your last battle, abnormal amounts of vitality would transfer between your five senses. Illumia, can you check what Idonea's physique is?"
"Of course, your highness." Replied Illumia as she made her over to Idonea.
When Illumia put her hand on the back of Idonea's neck, she didn't try rejecting her, which would've made things unnecessarily difficult, and allowed Illumia's Qi to flow freely through her body. A couple of seconds later, Illumia took her hand back as she made her way over to my side again.
"As I said before, I don't have a special-" Said Idonea, though she stopped speaking when she heard Illumia's words.
"Idonea has a low God physique." Said Illumia while interrupting Idonea.
"See, I was correct. Now, since you were already tested, why were you informed you had no physique?" Asked Elif to no one specifically, just voicing his thoughts.
"H-How's that possible!? I shouldn't have a physique, and knowing my father, he wouldn't have ever lied about something like that!" Said Idonea, who seemed to be in the middle of a mental breakdown.
"Actually, your highness, Idonea's physique had been sealed away for a couple of years, and it's most likely her physique was sealed away before she was tested." Said Illumia, who had just now informed everyone of something important.
"That would've been helpful earlier, Illumia, so why didn't you unseal it?" Asked Elif, looking at Illumia with annoyance.
"Because unsealing a physique will be quite a painful experience."
"It's fine, please could you unseal it? Pain is the last thing I'm worried about." Said Idonea, who had managed to calm down, but you could see tears forming in her eyes.
"Well, you heard her, Illumia, go and unseal her physique; I'm quite interested in knowing what her physique is." Said Elif with interest as he watched Illumia go up to Idonea and place her hand on the back of her neck again.
The unsealing took much longer than just assessing her physique; however, the moment Illumia took her hands off Idonea's neck, she tightly grabbed her head and started screaming.
"Is it supposed to be this painful Illumia?" Asked Elif as he used his Qi to form a soundproof dome around Idonea as he found her screaming to be annoying.
"If anything, she is taking it quite well; most people would have gone unconscious by now. Unsealing a part of someone's soul or physique is very painful, as that piece must reconnect with the rest of the body." Replied Illumia standing beside Elif as they watched Idonea suffer through the process of regaining a lost part of herself.
We waited for a few minutes, and once Idonea stopped screaming, I dissipated my Qi dome and had Illumia go and check on her since she stopped moving.
"She's fine, your highness, just exhausted." Said Illumia as she picked up Idonea's body.
"Alright, go and set her down on the bed in the other room; also, give her this; she had a head injury when she arrived." Said Elif as he motioned Illumia to the other room while tossing a pill with five small stars engraved on it over to Illumia.
When Illumia returned, I had already moved my throne back to its original spot and began watching one of the matches.
"I had almost forgotten, but those pests I talked about earlier tried harming Idonea, so I captured them and wanted to know how I should handle them."
"I don't care, do with them as you see fit; they were probably unimportant anyways." Replied Elif casually, though he missed the sadistic gleam that passed through Illumia's eyes before they returned to normal.
"Understood, your highness."
A couple more matches transpired before Idonea left the bedroom, though when she saw where she was, she looked slightly surprised.
"So that wasn't a dream." Quietly whispered Idonea as she made her way to Elif before kneeling.
"Hmm, what are you doing?" Asked Elif, finding her actions confusing.
"I wish to express my gratitude for unsealing my physique, allowing me to remember things from my childhood, and changing my future!" Said Idonea with respect, determination, and slight joy.
"You don't need to do all that; I did what I did because of my curiosity, not because I wanted to help you." Replied Elif casually with a wave of his hand, completely dismissing Idonea's statement.
"That may be true, Prince Elif, but my mother told me that I should always repay a favor of equal value, and not only did you save my life, but you've changed my future completely. I will not be able to live easy unless I repay you!" Said Idonea with the same determination as before while ignoring Elif's previous words.
"Alright, fine, tell me about your physique, and then you're debt free or whatever." Quickly replied Elif, paying more attention to the fighting match below.
"My physique gives me an increased level of perception, to the point where I can hear the heartbeat of someone from the other side of the coliseum and see through someone's body; my three other senses have also been improved to such a degree as well." Said Idonea, explaining her physique without much detail, but her physique has only been unsealed for a little bit, so she only knows a little about it.
"Not much to go off of, but do you have any idea what type of physique that is Illumia?" Asked Elif, now paying attention to Idonea as the match had concluded.
"From that information and the number of meridians she housed, I would wager she was born with the Sentido physique, a physique specialized in all six senses that can be physically perceived." Stated Illumia while looking between Idonea and Elif.
"That sounds nice, but how can a physique like that be classified as a low God tier? It doesn't sound that powerful?"
"It isn't a physique known for its strength similar to yours; however, its versatility is very beneficial in many situations, whether it's fighting, producing pills, blacksmithing, or inscribing formations. And as you've seen how Idonea used it before it was unsealed, it's possible to fight even blinded or deafened." Said Illumia, informing both Elif and Idonea of her physique's capabilities.
"I guess that's not bad. Hmm, you can leave now, Idonea, you've repaid your debt, and I'm quite satisfied with what I've learned." Said Elif as he began meditating since he didn't find the current match interesting.
While meditating, I could still sense how Idonea hadn't left yet, but it didn't bother me as I figured she would leave soon; however, by the time the match had ended, she still hadn't moved from her kneeling position.
"So, why are you still here?" Asked Elif as he finished his meditation and looked at Idonea.
"I haven't repaid my debt yet." Answered Idonea bluntly, causing Elif's eye to twitch from her ignoring him.
"I already told you your debts have been paid. So leave and go do what you were doing before." Said Elif as he began watching the next match, but when he noticed that Idonea didn't show any signs of leaving, he started getting annoyed.
"Alright, since you're clearly ignoring me, what must you do until your debt is repaid." Asked Elif, showing a rare case of patience to someone other than Illumia, Sarah, or his family.
"Since you've saved and changed my life, it is only natural that I do the same for you." Answered Idonea, though her words brought a chuckle out of Elif.
"Idonea, I'm the Crown Prince of an Immortal Empire. Do you think you will ever be able to save or protect me, especially when I'm stronger than you?" Asked Elif in amusement.
"You're correct, but no one knows what'll happen in the future; anything is possible, Prince Elif." Responded Idonea as she looked directly into Elif's eyes without fear.
Everything she said was true, but realistically, what are the chances of her actually saving me in the future? If I need to be saved, then most likely, her power won't be enough.
"I think it's not a bad idea, your highness; why not let her be one of your followers?" Said Illumia, interjecting the conversation.
"Follower? What's a follower?" Asked Elif while looking over to Illumia with slight curiosity.
"Think of a follower as a subordinate or servant, Prince Elif."
"Then no, there are already plenty of servants in the castle for me to use, all of them being better than Idonea, besides I have you; I don't need another servant." Curtly replied Elif, no longer curious.
"Even if you think so, having another servant will allow you to practice qualities you'll need when you become the Emperor in the future. Also, the more followers you have within the same generation as you, will inadvertently showcase your power and talent to the world, something I'm sure you would like." Said Illumia, as she tried hard for Elif to accept Idonea as a follower.
'Illumia's correct about the first part, but the second part interests me more; I mean, why not show the world how talented and powerful I am among the younger generation?' Thought Elif as he Imagined himself standing at the top among the younger generation while getting praised by everyone.
"Alright, fine, it's not a bad idea, but as the Prince, I can't just have some random followers, and even though you caught my interest, that doesn't mean you're an exception. If you can't impress me in your next fight, then I will not allow you to be my follower." Declared Elif, giving Idonea an ultimatum.
