Lord Magnus, recognizing the gravity of the situation, widened his stance, and prepared for the impending onslaught.

However, in a sudden twist of fate, the shadows didn't unleash their devastating power as he anticipated. Instead, they seemed to have a will of their own, shrouding him in an impenetrable darkness.

His surroundings turned pitch black, robbing him of sight and sound.

"Where am I?" He muttered as he could easily tell he was in another realm, space. "Hmm..."

Lord Magnus instinctively tried to summon his lightning-infused armor, but the shadows clung to him like ethereal chains, preventing him from accessing his magical defenses.
