The maid took a step back and Isabella locked the door again.

Her eyes filled with gleam as she turned to pounce on Tyrone but.. The room was empty.

"Tyrone! Tyrone?"

With a panicked look on her face, she went to the washroom, balcony and checked the whole room but the man was not there anymore.

In the duke's palace.

Cassey felt a hand on her back and then the sinking of her bed. Her eyes opened abruptly but before she could sit or scream, the person held her shoulders and pushed her back on the bed.

"Tyrone?" She knew his smell but there was something different in it.

"Mmm, were you sleeping?" His husky voice assured her but then the anger rose.

"What are you doing here? Were you not out with your fiance?" She did not realize that she was still affected by Daisy's words until she heard her own voice.
