Capítulo 352: A Dangerous Promise

Seri's face hardened as she put her scarf back. There was something that changed in Seri. Ana could not help but stare at the girl again when the door knocked and Emma entered.

"Your grace." she bowed her head. Her eyes looked at Seri but she did not speak.

"Very well." Ana took out five gold coins and passed to Seri, "you may go now." 

"Your grace.." Emma waited for Seri to leave the room before falling on her knees, "I did not get the chance to thank you.  I…" her voice broke. The announcement that the princess had died took her off guard.

She was already so relieved that Luke did not exist and June disappeared but to think that princess had died! It all felt so surreal that even now, when she was leaning on the ground and the cold surface numbed her skin, she could not believe that it was true.
