Though women often feel they must safeguard their purity for men, she never believed that any man truly deserved it. She had grown up in the palace, observing the constant flow of nobles coming and going from the house of pleasure. Each man indulged in women as if they were commodities, while women remained confined at home, waiting for their men to return.

Women were expected to manage the household, raise children, warm their husbands' beds, and fulfil their needs. This way of life amounted to nothing short of slavery. While men enjoyed lives filled with wealth, sex, power, and even killings for amusement, her boredom was overshadowed by her revulsion for the systematic subjugation of women.
