Capítulo 14: Chapter 14

"Ugh." Sarutobi awoke with a headache and a groggy feeling in his stomach.

"Sarutobi!" Enma shouted.

Sarutobi looked around with his headache pounding in his head, he found himself in a bed inside the infirmary, and as he looked around, he found his staff leaning against the drawers next to him.

"Sarutobi!" An eye opened out of the staff, and Sarutobi smiled.

"Enma, your alright," Sarutobi said in delight as he lifted himself out of bed.

Sarutobi's legs began to shake as he stood up.

"Wow!" Sarutobi shouted as he felt himself collapse to the ground.

Enma shot out his hand and caught Sarutobi before he hit the ground, he then lifted him back onto the bed.

"You suffer from the overuse of your chakra, rest for now," Enma said with caution.

Sarutobi grunted, not liking that he's been reduced to this state, which reminds him.

"Where's Miyamoto?"

Enma pulled back the curtain to the other bed, revealing Miyamoto in full. Even as he slept, he still gave off a menacing presence.

"Sarutobi, could you examine the sword he carries?" Enma asked

Sarutobi nodded and Ebma picked him back up, carrying him over to the side of Miyamoto's bed.

Sarutobi tried to take the sword out of Miyamotk's hands, but Enma spoke up.

"You can't remove it from his hands, I've tried and even I could barely get a finger off."

Giving up on prying the sword out of Miyamoto's grip, Sarutobi looked at what he could see.

After a few moments, Enma spoke up.

"Do you recognize it?"

Sarutobi let out a sigh as his headache started pounding again.

"It's from the 1st Hokages time, that's all I know. Put me back in my bed." Sarutobi demanded, and Enma complied.

Sarutobi let out a groan as he laid back down.

"Enma, has anyone talked about the Chunin exams?"

"No, not to my knowledge."

"Well, if someone does, just say that it'll be delayed for a little bit while I recover," Sarutobi said before he fell asleep.

As night fell upon the village, Miyamoto woke up in the night to the snoring of Sarutobi.

'Wow, how long has it been since I've lost consciousness? Decades if I remember correctly.' Miyamoto noticed the staff, remembering that there was a monkey in it, Miyamoto asked it something.

"Monkey, are you there?"

The staff opened a tired eye and glanced at Miyamoto.

"What," Enma said, annoyed that his sleep was interrupted.

"Is he the strongest?" Miyamoto said, looking at Sarutobi.

"The world is vast, many talents are birthed, and there may be one that can defeat you," Enma said, trying to threaten Miyamoto, making him scared of failure, but it had the opposite effect.

"You're right, the world is vast," Miyamoto said as a smile settled onto his face.

Enma sighed.

'A true maniac.'

"I suggest you stay here for the time being," Enma said, surprising Miyamoto.

"Why?" Miyamoto said, a bit suspicious of the offer.

Remembering the conversation Sarutobi had with Miyamoto and followed that.

"Well, if you leave now, you might die to a bandit, and I'm sure the legendary Miyamoto wouldn't want that, and we will hold an exam that consists of hundreds of students with unique talents, maybe one might get your interest."

Miyamoto knew what he was doing, but he brought up valid points, so Miyamoto sat there and waited.

A Week passed...

Miyamoto and Sarutobi left the infirmary together and the Anbu who saw Miyamoto couldn't help but be filled with anger.

Miyamoto followed the Sarutobi around like a bodyguard almost, when asked, Moyamoto responded.

"If anyone tried to assassinate you, they should be strong, right?" That was his answer.

The Chunin exams also started, because Miyamoto was curious about the exam, he wanted to watch the first test, so Sarutobi whipped out the crystal ball.

Miyamoto was pretty bored with the first test, realizing that it was about sufrefuge, but he showed interest in the second test.

Before the first test finished, Miyamoto left the office, saying nothing.

"He's probably on his way to the second test," Sarutobi said.

The captain of the Anbu climbed out of Sarutobi's shadow.

"Do you want me to send some people to stop him?"

"No, I think it'll be good for genin to get a real battle experience," Sarutobi said as he walked over to one of the opened windows.

"Lord 3rd. He was able to beat you, I don't think that these genin could hold a candle to him." The captain said with an incredible expression.

"Just ask him to hand over the sword, if he refuses, just say that I will go down there a beat his ass," Sarutobi said with a grin.

The Anbu Captain rolled his eyes under his mask before sinking back into Sarutobi's shadow.

"Before you leave, Captain, warn the instructors about Moyamoto's involvement, and tell them to proceed as they wish."

"Bu your orders, Lord 3rd." The Anbu Captain said before disappearing into the shadows.

Sarutobi stared out upon the village, enjoying the sweet air that the winds provided.

Miyamoto is on his way to the forest on the other side of the village.

When he arrived at the forest, he was greeted by a yell.

"HEY, WHO DARES APPROACH THE FOREST OF DEATH?!"

The figure crashed into the ground in front of Miyamoto, kicking up dirt.

The figure revealed themselves as they emerged out of the dirt cloud.

Miyamoto saw a woman with dark purple hair, standing in front of him with a smirk of power on her face.

"Who are you?!" The woman demanded.

Miyamoto smiled...
