Tai decided to go up to retrieve Calista and Ricky by herself while Sydney worked on something on the computer while watching the pups that they have and Tai doesn't want the other two to freak out.
Tai finally climbed up the elevator shaft, she looked it over and needed pieces from the maintenance room to fix it.

" Tai I almost killed you !" Ricky shouted letting his arm fall down to his side sighing and rubbing the back of his neck, then he glared at Tai.
" Where is the girl at ? " Ricky said walking over to where he boxes up some tools and parts, Tai smiled seeing Ricky working to get things together.
" she came after me, I guess she was worried and I'm lucky she did since I hit my head pretty bad and knocked out completely. " Tai said pointing at the stitches on her head that Sydney did, Ricky looked relieved that the girl went after Tai.
" good...I guess I can forgive her for that hit she gave me, but she saved your life...right " Ricky said making Tai smile at him trying to hide how worried he was, but his when words betrayed him while he was focusing on parts on a shelf.
" Yeah she did....for someone wanting to kill me you do sound worried " Tai said with a playful grin on her face, Ricky has never seen it and had the pleasure to see this side of Tai.
Ricky can't lie on how attractive the woman is, but he's hoping that maybe she's bisexual or pansexual as people call it today...Only a few of the people know about Tais secret, her friends, girls and my post of her unit knows that she has both sexes.

" Ricky I'm going to go get Calista, just keep getting things in order and also let's get more fire power for when we go downstairs.... well I guess we can get you some better clothes as well, I'll tell you about what we found in the furnace room. oh remember that creature with the tail. " Tai said walking toward the door and Ricky nodded his head saying he did as he shivered thinking about the thing.
" that's one of my new pets so don't fire at it, I also have some other ones that Will help us out when they get bigger so leave them be " Tai said as Ricky looked at her with a complexed look.
" Tai that's too dangerous " Ricky said placing another tool bag down beside Tais Tool box and walking over to her.
" No it's saved me several times, even when I was knocked out I could barely open my eyes or move to see it was dragging my body away from some of the infected that's down in that room...so yeah I will protect it as well" Tai said walking out of the room leaving the door unlocked for Ricky to get out, She walked to the Armory where Calista was waiting and every step she took she felt fear wash over her.
When Tai opened the door Calista smacked her across the Cheek then pulled her into a tight hug while crying, Tai smiled then kissed her passionately making her moan into the kiss.

Hell probably more than a couple, it's big and strong, it's smart enough to hide it's main body and it's protecting it's core I'm guessing the main one inside of it " Tai said grabbing a striker shotgun off the shelf with a few boxes of shells, she looked over at a heavy machine gun pulling one off the rack along with some M-16S that had grenade launchers attached to them.
" if it wasn't for that creature from the upstairs apartment, when I was knocked out sliding down the laundry shoot after killing those things and it dragging me away from the infected down there plus Sydney knocked out Ricky taking his weapons also the card I'd probably be dead right now or infected." Tai said thinking about the bite that Sydney got for taking the bite for her, later on when she looked at the wound it looked good and it didn't seem like the skin broke at all.
" well I'm glad that they helped you, but who is Sydney " Calista said narrowing her eyes at Tai who nervously scratched her neck and stared at a crack in the concrete floor, thinking that it's a very interesting crack.
" Tai answer me now, I'm not worried about her being with you since the others agreed that we don't care plus I'm sleeping with Ari and Lillian anyway." Calista said grabbing a RPG off the shelf and grabbing a few heads to reload the thing.
" I guess her family member locked her up inside a room to keep her safe " Tai said not telling her all the details about the girl right now, Calista looked at her one last time before gathering a crate of grenades plus thermite grenades sitting them down near the weapons that Tai chose.
" what about these flame throwers " Calista said picking up the flame thrower that had two tanks, Calista grabbed three setting them down.
" just grab things that could help take that thing down plus we have the smaller ones roaming the area as well, when we kill them it will make a tail like structure with bodies to collect the ones we kill and fusing them to it.
" we cannot let it grab, hit or hell get near it without hundreds of arms flying out trying to grab you " again said looking over the armory that's filled with all kinds of weapons and Ammo, Calista walked over to a cabinet on the wall and opened it up.
" they have vehicles somewhere here that would be good if they were military grade ones, I think there's another structure behind this building that we need to check out." Calista said looking at the map on the wall that was a better detailed one than the one Tai got from the hallway upstairs.
" we will later...I found the labs that are fully functional and all the data, samples and machines are there and the others should be here soon right " Tai said hugging Calista who smiles then kisses Tai.
" yes probably within the hour, she said it'll take longer than usual because of the road. " Calista said releasing Tai from the hug continuing going through all the weapons, Tai takes a crate that had three M-16s that have a grenade launcher and three strikers with ammo, extra clips also grenades inside.
" we'll deal with that thing later, we'll strip this place down, collect the vehicles and then kill the thing " Tai said walking out of the armory, Calista smiled biting her bottom lip while going through all the weapons.
Tai walked over handing Ricky both a M-16 and a striker with ammo and extra clips, she pointed at the grenades.
" we'll carry those down in the crate for now but if shit goes down we'll get ready " Tai said as Ricky handed her a rolled up rope, carbiners, Quick draws, harnesses, rappel ascenders and descenders along with a webbing rope. Ricky had a smug look on his face walking over to the elevator looking down the shaft and started anchoring the rope to the concrete floor.
" I've packed all that gear up for us to take since we'll be going higher we'll definitely need them and I can show everyone how to use them." Ricky said already lowering the equipment and other boxes of parts down the shaft, Tai patted his shoulder then pulled him into a hug taking him off guard, it took him a few moments to hug Tai back and he stared sniffling and cried on her shoulder since he hasn't had time to mourn for his brother that he put down.
" Ricky I'm glad that we didn't kill each other and I need your help to save these people, I think I was sent up here not knowing what we were sent into. Nothing matches up with what command has told us, so I'm sure the higher we go the rougher it'll be and I'm sure going down right now isn't in our best interest." Tai said pulling out from the hug, Ricky wiped his tears away continuing what he was doing while Tai climbed down the ladder.
" I'll leave this set up until we fix the damn thing, I'll also lower some climbing ropes in case shit hits the fan and all of can quickly ascend or decend fast" Ricky said while driving anchors into the floor
Tai went down the ladder quickly jumping down inside the elevator making the whole thing shake and she balanced herself on the wall, Ricky looked down at her.
" Does that thing go down to another floor " Ricky said and Tai looked over at the controls seeing the floor numbers going down to B-2 and three key homes which was marked emergency except for the last one that had DAN-01 with a red light above it.
Tai remembered that video where they had a cell built down into the ground with bars going across the top and some kind of glass that's probably stronger then steel.
" I believe it does " Tai said running her hand over the key slot, Ricky looked down again and started his descent by the rope coming down in a few seconds and standing by Tai.
" we'll check that later, it seems the key is shaped different from a regular key " Ricky said walking out of the elevator when a lab door slides open with the creature running out ignoring him to jump on Tais vest.
Ricky was frozen in his spot and his legs was visibly shaking.
" Roo go show uncle Ricky that your a good girl or boy and that you won't hurt any of them " Tai said walking over, the creature held its tail out to Ricky while the four irises in its socket was trained on him.
" come on Ricky that's rude and you'll hurt Roos feelings" Tai said nudging Ricky, he puts his trembling hand out as the tail wraps around his hand gently shaking it up and down.
" see " Tai said watching Ricky relax a little, he smiled at Roo then it pulled its tail away and Tai walked inside the lab room seeing Sydney working the lab equipment putting liquid inside a vial using the lab equipment.
* Sydney be careful with this stuff " Tai said walking over to see what she was doing, the screen said thirty vials will be made in ten minutes and Sydney was also putting data along with samples in the second machine making a different solution.
" I have work to do it'll take about ten to fifteen minutes for these antibacterial and bacterial solutions to be done, this one can even cure a bad case of gain green also something I'm now working on for you Tai " Sydney said wrapping her arms around Tais neck kissing her lips, Ricky felt a tinge of jealousy seeing that girl kiss the woman he now has a crush on so he looked away. Sydney knows that he like Tai and smirked I. the kiss watching him with her perifial vision.
" Sydney you know more about this place then I do and I was wondering if there is another floor " Tai said pulling away from the hug holding Sydney's waist, Sydney smiled then walked away going to a large door at the end of the lab that leads into a large office sitting at a mahogany wood desk that had designs of Greek gods carved in to the legs and sides of the desk.
" whose office is this " Tai said looking around seeing another picture on the desk of a man with black hair with a clean cut beard holding a girl that reminded her of Olivia.
Then she looked at another picture that had a little girl with Lilac hair standing by the brown haired girl, with the man standing behind them holding their shoulders.
" this office belonged to the same man that had the office where he kept you right " Tai said holding the picture of the three, she took the picture out of the frame finding a eight page letter behind it, she tick both the picture and letter inside her bag.
Tai found another picture the man along with his wife and each of them are holding two children, for some reason Tai took that one too and wants to ask about the brown haired girls name that reminds her of someone.
" here Tai I printed off the unofficial map that only a few people are allowed to have " Sydney said walking over to a safe that was behind a large painting on the wall, she put in the code and it took her fingerprint opening a door to a walk-in safe.
Ricky's eyes went wide following them inside the safe where there was gold bars and corona stacked on shelves, there was also a refrigeration appliance inside that held over a hundred eighty vials.
" there are some cases that have locks that'll protect the vials, these are the most important ones we need to take and we need to take them before the others get here." Sydney said grabbing a case that holds forty vials at a time, each scase has a advanced lock on them that takes a code, fingerprint and a retinae scan to open them.
" oh the reason he kept all this gold, silver and other metals along with the jewels is because he said when the world ends the paper money won't be worth anything only these things. Sydney said loading all of the vials with several guns that shoots the vaccine into someone.
" well I'm glad you told us about this Sydney Thank you " Tai said smacking her butt after she loaded the last case looking in different shelves and drawers smiling pulling out guns that looked like something you'd see on a sci-fi movie.
" Ricky get the third door on the right next to the office there are some special crates inside with wheels, go get them to load all of this metal and jewels also pack this whole room in those crates only " Sydney said making Ricky smile and almost skipping out of the room, Tai smiled when Sydney grabbed a bulky rifle that has blue liquid inside a clip that she loaded inside of it.
The gun looked like it weighed a lot but it was light as a feather, Tai aimed the gun and a holographic lens pops in front of her eye magnifying where she was looking. It even showed Ricky through the walls in a color green while the creatures they had came up red.
" does it only show these colors or does it show who you're looking at, that would be awesome too " Tai said when a second lens popped up in front of the first and it showed a clear picture of Ricky and also the creatures plain as day through the wall.
" when you fire a shot it only uses a little drop of this blue stuff, you can also hold the trigger in and charge the shot to blow half this room away or more " Sydney said, Tai smiled looking at the weapon then over to the closet that had forty rifles along with twenty large ones that mimic the look of machine guns on tripods, sixty two sub-machine guns and over sixty six handguns.
Two large drawers came out of the wall that had different size cartridges that are clips for these guns, along with large tanks of liquid and another drawer had thousands of a ball like device that fits in your hand that had twelve flat surfaces with the blue liquid in the middle of each flat surface.
When she slid open more drawers that held different ones similar to the ball like weapons but of different shapes, Sydney grabbed over thirty of the ball like ones that she said are grenades, forty sticky grenades and twenty of ones that had propllares or legs that would come out of a frisbee looking one that would fly or walk to a destination you wanted it to set up at like a landmine. Sydney brought out a bright blue clay that looked just like the blue liquid and said it works like C-4 explosives, she also brought out a small hand held device.
" the clay is kinda harmless until you scan the pieces or the whole thing with this to use it like C-4, a pinch can take out a large armored car." Sydney said when she saw Tai pick up one of the grenades making her breath hitch, she slowly walked closer to Tai.
Sydney grabs the device out of Tais hand before she clicked the button even though you turn it then hit the button, she doesn't want an accident to happen to the one she claimed as her mate.
" these are similar to grenades but makes them look like fireworks, if you would have detonated it this half of floor would have been gone " Sydney said as she opened the other drawers that had the ones she just went over that looked like different explosives with the blue liquid in them.
" umm Sydney can we give some of the rifles and handguns to certain people in my group, oh also Ricky " Tai said as Sydney nodded her head yes grabbing one of the pistols hand it over to Tai. When Tai examined the weapon she saw that the blade was to the barrel and was under the trigger to the hilt almost seven inches wide, but the blade was a half an inch thick and nine inches in length same as the guns length.
" so I'm getting some of each kind out, some of the guns have the built in blades that will cut through steel while some don't have the blades on them. This way will have easy access while the others will be sealed inside a locked crate, sticky grenades, grenades plus the advanced land mines. I'm also taking out twenty handguns along with ten heavy machine guns, thirteen rifles and twenty twy sub machine guns so all of us plus your team will be armed well against even a level eight infected.
Sydney got in another drawer that had tactical knives that had blades from six inches to twenty inches made of the whitish silver metal, she took out over thirty of the blades of different sizes laying them inside a box and hands Tai one that was twenty inches long not counting the hilt, she pulled out two more that was twelves inches long for Ricky and Calista.
" the rest of the ones inside that box you can hand out to your people, with one swipe or stab will kill or maime those things plus they'll retreat when touched by that metal." Sydney said pulling out a side way shelve that had swords inside made from the same material, Tai laid the blade down looking at the swords that had over a hundred different kinds inside.
" oh I definitely want some of these " Tai said seeing a Katana that had a blade that was six feet long and a DAO sword that was the same size and yes she wants both Sydney smiled taking out a ten inch tactical knife hooking it to Tais belt.
" take those two...How many should I get out before boxing these " Sydney said after she finished boxing the tactical knives except the ones they'll be handing out that's in another box for the group.
" take sixteen out of different kinds along with different lengths, I also need some about thirty inches long for the children to have " Tai said as Sydney does what Tai said while showing Ricky what items goes inside what crates that's to be locked up while she has boxes for the weapons their picking out for Tais people.
" There are also large Barrels full of the liquid and also more of that metal we'll need to take if we plan to make more things to fight against these things we'll need to get from DAN-01 plus the blueprints for them and the formula to make the liquid" Sydney said putting them inside a case to keep for the others and putting the rest inside the special crates that have locks on them.
Tai looked at the hand gun and grabbed a long tube that was incased in a protective metal like material, Tai seen a small circular hole that she put the clip inside the gun making a see through part on the handle glow blue with the liquid.
" that way you can see how much ammo you have and also you can hold the trigger on this one too for a bigger blast not as big as the rifle one..... we're almost done packing up the room. " Sydney said
Tai was opening up the doors and drawer when ten racks that held a dozen suits on each rack come out Along with Helmets with full masks, gloves and combat boots.
" holy shit what are these " Tai said looking at the suits and hear that was on the racks, all the suits and other gear weighed almost nothing and Sydney smiled walking over.
" these are made from the same metal that was made into material to make protective gear against bites, scratches, some hits along with bullets or blasts from weapons....the thing is after so much damage it'll become useless unless we maintain them, that's why on the lower floor we need to collect a lot of things from there " Sydney said grabbing four of the outfits along with the other gear that each had places to put several weapons and sacks to store things, there was also shoulder bags that she grabbed sitting them on the table.
" this is amazing Sydney " Tai said hugging her tight and kissing her lips, Sydney smiled then told Ricky to pack them up except for forty they'll leave out for now to pack in another box that'll go with the other boxes to give out to the groups.
