Truthfully, I'd been thinking the same thing for a while now. The fact that my presence in the Academy has somehow made things more troublesome for the people in it. In the past four months alone, incidents that should've been extremely rare occurrences have come up like they were just waiting for a catalyst to make things go boom. 

There was a growl growing inside of me. The wolf was displeased. 

'Beiskaldi,' the belligerent boy in my mind hissed in agreement. 

I guess I didn't like someone else saying this suspicion out loud even if it were true. 

"What are you getting at?" Mistress Lorelai asked, her tone frigid as the freezing winds of Helheim. 

Anal's mom didn't back down from her though. Possibly because ljósálfar weren't allowed to surrender to their dökkálfar rivals.
