Capítulo 154: Perfect Preparation

The days quickly passed by in the blink of an eye, and in each one, Hade made it a priority to achieve at least one tangible goal.

The goal could be something groundbreaking, like managing to bypass the current rules of his Switcheroo, or, it could be something a lot less avant-garde in comparison, like increasing the range of his Zone of Tranquility by a mere half inch.

Really, the specifics did not matter.

All Hade cared about was that he improved daily, and that by the time the mission's appointed date arrived, he would have made as many preparations as humanly possible.

The main reason for his perturbation was that although August had claimed that the mission was purely investigatory, his handing over his professor's badge clued otherwise, in which case Hade deemed that the best, if not rational, course of action, was to try and prepare for whatever hindrances may come along their way.
