Seven-year-old William could hear the birds chirping, they were loud from the multicolored large window behind him, but he only just focused on his writing, and also scanning the books that lay plenty on his table. Flipping pages countless times effortlessly.

This is every day in young William's life, if he's not conversing with Basker he was here all the time and only out when he needed a change of clothes and a bath. The whole 7 years of his life has been the library and he wasn't complaining, the library itself brought him nothing but comfort.

But sometimes… William wondered what lay outside that forest for he had never descended the mountain before. Basker has told him if he wanted he could go explore but William chose his solitude here.

But this particular day was different for him, especially with the bird's continuous chirping, it was almost like they were calling for him to go outside or currently distracting him from getting any work done.
