Capítulo 35: The Fae

I stepped closer to the building slowly. I didn't believe that there weren't going to be any monsters inside so I stayed alert. I noticed that inside was what was left over from a hotel. 

It looks clean….if you didn't mind the rubble everywhere and the blood stains on the floor. I took a few steps inside and looked around the main hall. I noticed that it was empty and silent. 

Mostly anyways….

In the center of the entrance, I saw something glowing. It was a red core. I walked towards it, mesmerized by its color. I crouched down getting ready to eat it. 

I swallowed it and stood back up. I saw another core farther away and another one right next to it.

'This seems like a trail of candies leading me to my death. This is very suspicious but I need strength. If someone is trying to lure me somewhere, this seems more like a downfall to them.'

I picked up the rainbow trail of [Cores] and swallowed them all.
