"It's the only thing that I can think of that doesn't involve just losing the battle."

"Alright, then we'll do what I suggested." Michelle looked satisfied that I didn't ignore her and I let her help me. Kara did not look happy about it.

"I can't just let you guys do this for me…"

'I…. Why am I starting to dislike Kara? Probably because I feel like she is manipulating us. I don't think she is but….. I don't like it, not one bit.'

"You don't have any better ideas now, do you? And you want us to help you? Then be quiet, and sit back, we got it."

Michelle didn't like what I said to Kara by just looking at her face. I just shrugged. It is how I feel about her. She doesn't benefit us, so we are getting into all this trouble just for her to stay here. When she could have asked to go with her brother instead of staying here. I don't mind helping out children, but this grown woman….

My brain must be wired differently.
