Capítulo 90: Impressionable

Fiona felt she had every right in the world to be upset but she wisely kept her feelings to herself. 

Her husband had been gone for days without so much as a by your leave and then he would return at nights and quietly slip into bed as if nothing was amiss.

It was all she could do to stay focused as Queen Leona had added Fiona to her retinue of ladies in waiting.

As an impressionable junior she had a lot to learn from the senior ladies that took her fledgling under their wing.

To them being a lady in waiting was a serious matter, and did not want fickle giddy headed young women in their midst.

The duties of a lady in waiting for the queen was quite extensive; it was all about pleasing the Dragon Queen and could be anything from performing intimate duties to household chores.

Intimate duties could be something as simple as washing the Dragon Queen's underwear, putting or removing the Dragon Queen's clothes or even bathing her.
