Capítulo 149: Arrows

A whooshing noise pierced through the street as a small rain of arrows flung out from the side of the road.

Almost all of the arrows found their targets, stabbing into the vitals of the group of cultists. 

In an instant, the ten or so creeps were reduced to just the leader.

The last remaining cultist clicked his tongue as he saw his dead comrades.

"Tch, those were my last few friends! We were going to have fun together tonight!"

A regretful yet not sad look appeared on the creep's face as he turned back to Salis, ignoring the incoming Easthill soldiers.

"Well, girlie, please do wander around again in the night. One of these days, we'll really have some fun!"

Wind gusted through the street, and by the time it settled down, the cultist leader was nowhere to be seen. 

As soon as the danger was gone, Salis ran over to Lod. She hurriedly turned him over, examining his head and throat to see if he was ok.
